Come join us for a functional fitness competition at the HAWC located at 505 Washington St. Portsmouth Ohio, 45662. Get ready for an unforgetable experience filled with fitness and fun! Summer Bummer is an event that incorperates community, fitness, and recovery in a partner style throw down! Don't miss out on the ultimate summer competition. Teams are made up of same gender pairs. So grab a partner and get ready for an event filled day!

(PART B)

Build to a 1RM Clean in remaining time of the 12:00.

 

Rx - (135/85), (155/105), (175/115), (185/125)

Scaled - (75/55), (95/65), (115/75), (135/85)

 

Notes:

Each partner completes 4 rounds complete you go, I go format. Every 2 rounds teams will increase weight. 

Build to a 1RM Clean in reamining time of 12:00.

Score = Combined weight of each partners best lift.

 

Notes:

-Athletes can start lifting as soon as they finish Part A, and can take as many attempts as necassry. 

-If the lift has started prior to time expiring, athletes can finish the lift and it will count towards their score. 

200m Run (Together)

40/30 calorie Echo Bike 

40 Synchroized Dumbbell Snatch (50/35) (35/25)

30/20 calorie Echo Bike 

30 Synchronized Dumbbell Snatch

Cap - 10min 

 

Notes:

-Partners will run together and BOTH must return before beginning bike.

-Bike Calories can be accumulated as needed.

-Only one head of the DB must contact the ground.

-Synchro requirement is at the TOP of the movement. 

-Time is stopped once BOTH partners return from the run.

AMRAP 10

15 Wall Balls (20/14) (14/10)

12/9 cal Ski 

90ft Sled Push 

90ft Farmer Carry (53/35s) (35/26s)

 

Notes:

-The entire workout partners can split Wall Balls and Ski as desired. 

-Once the ski is completed, one partner will sled push, the other will farmer carry. 

-Every round you will alternate which athlete sled pushes and which athlete farmer carries. 

-Sled push = 1 rep

-Farmer Carry = 1 Rep

Example: 1 full round for a mens team = 29 reps
