About This Competition

Exclusive team competition for F45 Studios, Trainers and members.


Teams of 3 same sex, There will be one league for females and one league for males - A winner from each league. There will be 3-4 workouts and the highest scoring teams will go through to a head to head final.


Workouts will be based around functional training, No crossfit or gymnastics, for those new to competitions there will be scaling options, for those experienced it will be challenging.


Think Dumbbells, Sandbags, Rowers, Ski ergs, Running and the odd burpee.


Along with the workouts there will be plenty of Vibes - Great DJ,s Sunshine (hopefully) plus food and drink. It's a great chance to bring our studios, members and trainers together for some friendly competition exclusively for F45s.

Workouts

Using the torque tanks


10x tank push (There and back 5 times 1 length = 1 rep)

Synchro 25 Amercian KB swing 

Team rope run - run as a team with the rope, keeping the rope off the floor at all times.


10x tank pulls 

Synchro 25 Amercian KB swings plus 25 KB Goblet squats

Team rope run 


10x tank pushthere & pull back

Synchro 25 Amercian KB swings, 25 KB Goblet squats, 25 KB Hang clean and press

Team rope run 


1 athlete always on the tank when the tank is moving - You may swap at the end of any length

All athletes must do the rope run , keeping rope off the floor at all times during the run.


Scored on time to complete.


If not completed in time the score is ranked closest to finish

3 x 9 minute blocks

At each 9 minute interval the erg work will stop and you will start the next buy in before moving back to the erg


Buy in - 50 x plate Bear hold squats synchro, when complete

Max distance ski

50 x burpee to plate synchro, when complete

You may change the person on the bike and ski erg at anytime however all athletes have to take part in each round.


Plate is 15kg.


2 scores available. Distance on bike and combined distance on both ski rounds.


Bike score - 2 scores in this workout, One for Bike distance and one for combined ski distance

Continuous row - rower is moving through out the workout with one person on the rower


Remaining pair complete AMRAP 


6 lateral box jumps - 1 person

8 DB snatch SA - 1 person

10 dual DB squat press 1 - person

6 paired Synchro down up 

Athletes alternate as they please on the AMRAP after any completed element (Eg complete all 6 lateral box jumos before tagging in) - only 1 working at once until the down ups.

When swapping in on the AMRAP you must cross the line to tag in the next athlete.

Athelete on the rower can change as and when you please or be kept as the same athlete throughout


2 scores: Reps on AMRAP (Every rep counts) and distance on rower.


Score = Distance on the rower

Part B Score is distance on the Row

The Final...


The top 4 teams from all the workouts combined will compete in the head to head final.

Scoreboard resets for the final.


Team that ends first wins.


Buy in.

Each athlete to complete approx 25 metre walk holding 1 dumbbell overhead and another Dumbbell by their side (Farmer carry style by their side)

Indian file, one after another.

DBs =10kg for female and 15kg for males.


If the Dumbell comes down from overhad position you have to stop for a 10 second time penalty.


1km Ski Split the ski however you please between athletes.

Every 250 metres complete 3 shuttle runs, 1 per athelete. Ski must stop for the runs and only re start when the final athlete is back.

At 1km move on to.....


6 heavy tank pushes (There and back is 1 rep) at the end of each return length complete 10 box jumps in Indian file. (one after another)


1km Row. Split the ski however you please between athletes.


Time will stop dead on the 1km mark.


Full briefing will be given at the start of the final.
