About This Competition

Beginners at their very first experience, scaled and intermediate competitors play side by side on the same game floor… It’s much more than a race, it’s a fest for hundreds of fitness enthusiasts.

 

Welcome to the 2024 Fittest Freakest Festival.

 

Rulebook

 

General info:

Finals: October 12th & 13th
Location: Giarmata Mare, Timis county

The venue is Sala Sporturilor Giarmata a sport facility in Giarmata Mare, Timis county. It has a large 5000 square meter area where all of the competition will take place. It will have multiple arenas (inside and outside*).


There will be vendors, informational booths, food vendors and coffee vendors.

 

General Individual prices:

For Beginners & Scaled:

80 euros for early bird registration

90 euros standard price

100 euros last chance price

 

For TEAMS OF 3:

240 euros for early bird registration

270 euros standard price

300 euros last chance price

 

Categories and standards:

Whatever your ability level and age, you can compete live in the right category for you. To make sure you choose the category that best suits your level of fitness, refer to the following indicative standards:

  • Beginners (18 years old and over): this category is adequate for active people wishing to be a part of a competition and experience the trills of a live event. You should be able to move small weights and low difficulty bodyweight gymnastics. 
  • Scaled (18 years old and over): this category is adequate for athletes eager to test their new learned skills.You should be able to control most of the crossfit scaled open movements and be able to perform gymnastics, weightlifting and odd objects exercices of low-moderate difficulty and moderate volume .
  • TEAM of 3(18 years old and over): this category is adequate for advanced athletes.You should be able to control most of the crossfit rx open movements and be able to perform gymnastics, weightlifting and odd objects exercices of moderate-high difficulty and low-moderate volume.

        

Available slots:


For the 2024 edition of the Fittest Freakest Festival there are 180 slots for three individual divisions (Beginners, Scaled and TEAM of 3):

  • Beginners M/F: 35/25*
  • Scaled M/F: 35/25*
  • TEAM of 3: 20*

*The number of available slots could be varied to meet the actual demand for registration for each category. 

 

Competition schedule:

A two day, live competition, with up to 6 individual scored event depending on the division you're in.

To spice up things a bit the workouts from the finals will be partially released before the event! Hints and uncompleted information will be made available at the beginning of October. Stay posted :)

All athletes will perform both days, most of the/all of the workouts scheduled for each category, there may be cuts.
