Masters HQ Online Qualifier
About This Competition
MastersHQ Online runs for 6 weeks. Every 2 weeks there will be a workout release. Workout releases may includes more than one part…sometimes resulting in more than 1 score per release. There will be a total of 6-8 scores at the completion of the 6 weeks.
Workouts will be released onto our website and Facebook page. These will include weight requirements for each age/division and links to demonstrations of workout standards as well as printable score sheets.
Participants will have 2 weeks to complete the workouts and submit their score. Score must be submitted into the website no later than 12pm on submission day for their scores to count.
Athletes must complete all parts of the workouts on the same day. This is an honesty system so we ask that you follow the rules to be fair to fellow athletes and the MHQ system. If you are found to have breached the rules, you will automatically be disqualified from the competition.
Workouts are required to be judged and verified by Head coach.
For Participants that train outside of an affiliate or are unable to do this, video submission will be required. Videos will need to be emailed to admin@mastershq.com.au by submission date.
Each individual athlete will be able to track their ranking on our live MHQ leaderboard also found on our website.
2018 Workout release dates and times are as follows:
- MHQ 181 - RELEASE: 26th APRIL @ 11am | SUBMIT: NLT 9th MAY @ 12pm
- MHQ 182 - RELEASE: 10th MAY @ 11am | SUBMIT: NLT 23rd MAY @ 12pm
- MHQ 183 - RELEASE: 24th MAY @ 11am | SUBMIT: NLT 6th JUNE @ 12PM
Top 10% (capped at 10 - Minimum of 5) of all athletes in each age/division will be invited to compete in the next stage of competition – THE SEMI FINAL
This allows all CFG Masters Qualifiers the opportunity to join our series if the don’t qualify for The Games. Registration fee will still be required but you will be exempt from doing the MHQ ONLINE unless you chose to. Our aim is to allows these guys to focus on making the qualifiers but also offer the opportunity to join our series if they do not advance to the Games!
We are excited to announce that there will be prizes for the Affiliates with the most registrations for THE ONLINE
- 1st Prize – SMAI Barbell and Bumper Package
- 2nd Prize – 4 SMAI Dead balls of various weights
- 3rd Prize – SMAI Prowler
