About This Competition

Who we are :

 

 - The Amarok Games is a fitness throwdown created in 2016.

It’s first edition, a team event only, was really successful with 110 athletes spread over 55 teams over the course of a two-day event. 

 

- Our first edition proposed quite a show for a locally held event with elite athletes from all over Belgium.

Following the first edition, we now want to grow and offer a unique show of fitness in Belgium

 

This year's edition :

 

Final: will take place in Brussel, on the 3rd and 4th of February.

 

Category : 

 

- Team : 

 

RX men (2 per team),  

Rx women (2 per team), 

Scaled Men (2 per team), 

Scaled Women (2 per team)

Elite Men (2 per team)

Elite Women (2 per team)

 

Standards : 

 

- Scaled (both men and women) : Pull-UpsSnatch (40/25), Clean &Jerk (50/35), 

 

- Team RX (for both men and women) : Mu Bar, Snatch (60/35), Clean & Jerk (70/45), HandStand Push-Ups

 

- Team Elite (for both men and women) : Mu Rings, Snatch (70+/50+), Clean & Jerk (100+/65+), HandStand Push-Ups

 

Qualifiers :

 

3 wods to be done !

 

- Qualifiers 3/11 to 17/11 : 3 WODS to be done 

 

- Qualifiers for RX team and Team Elite ONLY

 

 

Finals : For the final two days, the event will host:

 

Scaled (no qualifiers) : 

  • 24 Teams for the men
  • 24 Teams for the women

Note : The first 24 men teams and 16 women teams in scaled will be given access to the final. This category is for those who wants to discover competition for the first time. 

 

Elite / RX :

  • 16 Teams Elite Men
  • 32 Teams RX for the men
  • 16 Teams RX for the women

 

Cost :

 

Team Scaled : 70 €

Team Rx : 35€ for the qualifiers, then 35€ for the final

Team Elite : 35€ for the qualifiers, then 35€ for the final

 

 

 

 

Terms and conditions :

 

The athletes must read and accept these Rules and policies in all its parts incorporated herein by reference.

 

Risk acceptance

 

The athletes assume full responsibility for any and all risks that they are exposed to as a result of participation to The Amarok Games.

Those risks may include but not limited to the following:

–                 Injury to musculoskeletal system which can result in serious injury or dearth

–                 Injury or dearth due to my negligence

–                 Injury or dearth due to failure or improper use of equipment

The athlete declares that he read the information note related to Rhabdomyolysis provided by the journal and agree to assume all risks associated with participation to The Amarok Games.

The athlete also certifies that he or she is not aware of any obstacles, physical or physiological, that may cause damage to himself or other athletes during the participation in to The Amarok Games.

The athlete accepts financial responsibility for any injury that she may cause either to himself or other athletes, including serious injury and death. The Amarok Games doesn’t take financial responsibility for any injury or death of any person(s) and damage to property occurred during the competition.

The athlete further agrees to indemnify The Amarok Games, its employees and volunteers, from liability for any injury or dearth of person(s) and damage to property that may result from her negligent or intentional act or omission while participating in the competition.

 

Rules 

 

The organizers of The Amarok Games  reserves the right to disqualify athletes. Reasons for disqualification may include but not limited to the following:

·       Unsportsmanlike, racist or sexist behavior

·       Unfair behavior that lead to falsification of competition results

·       Offensive behavior against employees The Amarok Games, volunteers, other athletes or guests

·       Any behavior that breaches the Italian law

·       Any behavior that may harm the brand The Amarok Games and/or Ano ,

The organizers of The Amarok Games reserve the right to run the competition as it sees fit.

All athletes, including the staff of their teams and other persons must comply with this rules.

In the event of emergency, the athlete or a parent for minors authorizes to call the medical emergency services and to provide immediate medical care.

 

Audio and video registrations

 

Any audio or video images or registrations made during The Amarok Games may be used for personal needs only.

It is forbidden to use any audio or video material for commercial purpose without the prior consent of the organizers of The Amarok Games.

 

Equipment and other materials

 

By accepting these rules the athletes are responsible for taking care of the equipment and other materials available during The Amarok Games. All equipment provided during the competition respect the security standard and legally protected. The athlete is responsible for any damage of equipment and other material due to improper use.

The athlete declares that he fully read and fully accept the foregoing rules and policies.

By signing this document the athlete accepts the responsibility before the law

3 tentatives de Clean and jerk

Toutes les techniques sont autorisées : Muscle Cleans, Power Clean, squat Clean, Strict press, Push press, Push Jerk, Split Jerk

L'ordre de passage des athlètes ne peut pas changer durant l'épreuve .

Changing the order of lifting is not allowed during this event and should remain the same.

It's a realy workout. One round is done by the athlete 1 and the athlete B does second round, and so on.

The athlete A goes first et do the wod.Then the athelte B starts.
The two athlete have a 9 min window to both accomplish the wod.
