One Ton Challenge 2022
About This Competition
Back again, Year 3!!!
We are so pumped for this opportunity to bring back this event for 2022. We have moved the date, to adjust for the CrossFit Open in February. January 22nd, we will bring you the "most fun lifting event you could participate in!"
We have made some changes to Divisions this year:
- Power Index Male/Female Division (Same)
- OVERALL Total, "Monster" Male/Female Division**
- Novice is back, but different scoring than the other divisions. You MUST enter your current lift numbers in registration for this division.**
- You may register for both Power Index and Overall Total if you want, that would be our Alpha Division.**
What is Power Index? Power Index is a calculated ratio based on your 6 lifts, divided by your body weight. At check-in we will have a scale to weigh in day of.
Overall Total "Monster" division, no need to weigh in. Let's see what you've got, how much weight can one possibly lift over the 6 lifts. Can we see a 2500+ pound total for men? Can we see a 1500+ total for the ladies?
Novice, we are structuring the scoring differently. We want to celebrate and award the winner of this Division based on your effort put in, we want to see PRs!! One Ton Challenge is all about breaking personal records, the excitement is wild. This division will not be based on power index or weight lifted.
Time to put in the work, see you in January!
