About This Competition

Dueces Wild duo 2-person team competition 

When: Saturday, April 13th. 8AM-2PM

Where: Chino 13781 Roswell Ave (building 8) Chino CA 91710

Deuces Wild is a 2-person, same gender (MM or FF), functional fitness team competition for athletes of all skill levels. 

Whether your are new to CF, or a veteran ter, this event is for YOU!    Grab a friend and build your Super Team Duo. Register early, this event will sell out fast.

Registration Fee Schedule:

DEC 15 - JAN 31: $130 per team. Use code: WAL70

FEB 1- FEB 28: $150 per team. Use code: WAL50

MAR 1- MAR 7: $160 per team. 

MAR 8 -MAR 31: $175 per team. 

APR 1 until sold out: $200 per team. 

 Entry fee covers: Team entry fee for 2 persons, 4+ separate scored events, (2) exclusive athlete event shirts, team name plate, sponsor goodies at check-in, access to a huge vendor village, and an opportunity to prove your fitness in front of family, friends, and the largest crowds in Southern California with ultimate prize packs for podium teams!

DIVISIONS:  Advanced/Rx, Intermediate, FUN.  

TO REGISTER:

One person registers and pays for the team (team captain). Have team members' names, emails, shirt sizes, birthdates, etc. available when registering. Ladies - please indicate if your choose a Women's tank top or Men's T-shirt.

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS TO FUTURE EVENTS. NO EXCEPTIONS.  Athlete substitution up until the day of event by having your substitute athlete sign your team waiver on event day.

Workouts

60 CAL row for time

With 12 minute running clock;

E1- PART 1 - 60 CAL row for time

With remaining time perform chipper for time:

50 Handstand Push ups (Rx)

     Ring push ups (INT) / hand-release push ups (FUN)

40 burpee over rower

20 bar muscle ups (Rx)

     Other divisions: 30 Pull ups (INT)/ 30 Ring rows (FUN)

As many reps as possible for 7 mins:

10 Synchro DB goblet squats

10 Synchro single-arm DB alternating snatches

10 Synchro DB alternating lunges (DB front rack position)

Rx 70/50, INT 50/35, FUN 25

Team will share 1-set of dumbbells, thus using one-single dumbbell each for all movements. Movement Standards: Goblet Squats: Teams must hit the bottom (hip crease below knee crease) and top of squat at the same time to receive a rep. Snatches: Athletes must have both heads of DB touching the floor at same time, and reach full extension knee, hip, elbow, shoulder at the same time for rep to count. Lunges: One knee of each athlete must make contact with the ground, then athletes must reach full knee/hip extension at the top to receive a rep. 

For time: CAL Bike

Men - 50 CAL / Women 40 CAL

With a 6 minute running clock:

PART 1: 50/40 Calorie Bike for time.

With remaining time, perform as many reps as possible:

Heavy dball cleans over yoke**

D-balls Rx 100/80, INT 80/70, FUN 50 

**Yoke height TBA on day of event

 

Axle Bar Ladder: 1 power clean + 1 hang clean 

With pre-set stations, with every minute on the minute (EMOM), each athlete will perform 1 axle bar complex (60 seconds per team). Once complex is completed, athlete may advance to next heavier pre-set axle bar. This pattern will continue until athlete fails lift. Tie-breaker: If athlete fails attempt, athlete may then perform AMRAP deadlifts with remaining time. Score the sum of the  heaviest completed lift from both athletes. 

Men (All Divisions) 110#, 130#, 150#, 170#, 185#, 200#, 220#, 240#, 260#.

Women (All Divisions) 40#, 50#, 70#, 90#, 110#, 120#, 130#, 140#, 150#, 160#.
