About This Competition
Raising The Bar - Mixed Sex Pairs will be hosted and run by the team at CrossFit Leyland.
We continue to build on the great brand of Raising the Bar with the introduction of our 1 day Mixed Sex Pairs competition designed for masters athletes age 40+.
There will be no qualifiers for this event, it will work on a first come, first served basis.
Workouts will be released a couple of weeks before the event and as always things can be scaled further if needed.

80-89: 110kg, HSUP Set Up: 2 x 10kg + abmat
90-99: 100kg, HSUP Set Up: 2 x 10kg + abmat
100-109: 90kg, HSUP Set Up: abmat
110+: 80kg, HSUP Set Up: 10kg under abmat
*Athletes will have a 20kg & 15kg bar and can load the bars however they like as long as all weights are used. Once you have loaded the bars you cannot change the weight. A minimum of 5 reps must be completed by each athlete
Work can be split between partners anyhow. 1 work : 1 rest.

P1: Build to 3 x hang clean
P2: Build to 3 x hang snatch
P1 has 4 mins to lift. P2 will begin liftng on 4 minutes
There will be 1 min rest before WOD 1B begins
Score - total combined weight of both partners

Athletes can share the workload anyhow. 1 athlete working at once and tagging of partners is required when switching.
Score for 1B = max reps of pull ups
