About This Competition

The S2F Tour deSkiErg is a multi-race SkiErg Omnium for individuals & teams of 2 running from February 1st - February 28th.  Each week features a different race. 

Individual Events:
Week 1, Feb. 1-7: 5,000 meters
Week 2, Feb. 8-14: 500 meters
Week 3, Feb. 15-21: 2,000 meters
Week 4, Feb. 22-28: 10,000 meters

Individual Divisions:
Men 175 lb & under
Men 176 lb+
Women 145 lb & under
Women 146 lb+

Team Events:
Weekly events will be announced on Tuesday mornings at 9:00am CST.

Team Divisions:
Mens 350 lb & under
Mens 361 lb+
Womens 290 lb & under
Womens 301 lb+

Scoring:
This is an omnium.  Scores will be based on a point system where the fastest time each week in each division is awarded 1 point, the 2nd fastest time is awarded 2 points, the 3rd fastest time 3 points, and so on.

Athletes/Teams with the lowest accumulated score will win their respective divisions. 

Athletes/Teams must complete all 4 events in order to vie for the overall.

Registration:
Individuals can register themselves when ready. 

Teammates should designate a team captain who will sign-up the team.  The captain will need all registration information for both team members when registering.  

If you are registering for both the individual omnium and the team omnium, you will need to go through the registration process twice - once choosing your proper individual division and the 2nd time choosing the appropriate team division.

Workouts

Week 4 requires you to ski 10,000m for time.

You must ski this event between February 22nd and February 28th at 7:00pm CST.

Your score must be input by 7:00pm February 28th.

Week 3 requires you to ski 2000m for time.

You must ski this event between February 15th and February 21st at 7:00pm CST.

Scores must be input by 7:00pm February 21st.

Week 2 requires you to ski 500m for time.

You must ski this event between February 8th and February 14th at 7:00pm.

Scores must be submitted by February 14th at 7:00pm CST.

Week 1 requires you to ski 5,000m for time.

You must ski this event between February 1st and February 7th.

Scores must be submitted by February 7th at 7:00pm CST

In teams of 2 with partners trading as they please, ski for maximum meters in 30 minutes.

This event will have two (2) scored sections:

  • total meters skiied (Part A.)
  • total meters skiied in middle 10 minutes (Part B.)

Workout 2 is five (5) one minute intervals for maximum meters with one minute of rest between intervals.

Event 2b: most meters in a single minute
Event 2c: least meters in a single minute

Event 4 is an 5,000m ski for time.

Scores for Event 4:

  • Event 4a: total time for 5k ski
  • Event 4b: time to ski first 1k
