Workouts
Score 1:
Sinclair Total based on your 1RM max Snatch, 1RM Clean & Jerk, and Bodyweight at weigh-in.
Power, Squat and Split Snatches are all allowed as long as the lift meets the points of performance and feet are brought back in line with each other with the barbell overhead with control. Pressout will also be allowed as long as the full lockout is achieved with the bar overhead and control is shown before dropping the bar.
What is Sinclair Calculator and Points/Total
The Sinclair Calculator is a tool used in the sport of weightlifting to compare the performances of athletes of different body weights and determine a hypothetical "Sinclair Total." This Total is an adjusted measure of an athlete's performance, considering their body weight and the coefficient, and it provides a way to assess how an athlete's performance would theoretically compare to others if they were all in the same weight class. This allows for a fair comparison of athletes and helps identify the most outstanding lifters regardless of their body weight, fostering a fair and competitive environment in the sport.
Score 2:
Wilk's Score based on your 1RM Back Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift.
The Wilk's Score:
The term 'Wilks' is primarily found in powerlifting. It is the abbreviation of the Wilks coefficient or the Wilks formula, which was created by the CEO of Powerlifting Australia Robert Wilks.
To determine their Wilks score, a lifter needs to know just two factors, their weight and their total lifted weight. The score that a lifter is given reflects their relative strength and is a valuable tool for comparing the strength of different lifters.
For instance, consider a male lifter weighing 220lb with a total lifted weight of 1500lb (lifter A) and a male lifter weighing 150lb with a total lifted weight of 1300lb (lifter B). While lifter A may have greater absolute strength than lifter B, lifter B's relative strength, with a Wilks score of 451.8 versus lifter A's score of 414.4, is higher.
