About This Competition

Workout Release

The qualifier workouts will be released on monday may 31st 2021 at Competition Corner.

Rules

The online qualifier consists of three workouts, who need to be done in the right order and on the same day. Combining scores of different days is not allowed. All scores should be submitted via Competition Corner before sunday june 20th 20:00h.

Participating

Every athlete in the world is allowed to join the qualifier of the Battle of the North. Athletes younger than 18 need to show permission of their parents to join.

Finals

Based on the online qualifier, the best athletes will be invited to the finals.

Males: #1 t/m #30 will be invited to the A-Finals (saturday+sunday)
Males: #31 t/m #60 will be invited to the B-Finals (saturday)
Males: #61 t/m #90 will be invited to the C-Finals (saturday)

Females: #1 t/m #30 will be invited to the A-Finals (saturday+sunday)
Females: #31 t/m #60 will be invited to the B-Finals (saturday)
Females: #61 t/m #90 will be invited to the C-Finals (saturday)

Masters 35+: the best 40 masters will be invited to the finals on saturday. The specific number male/female will be based on the number of participants in the online qualifier.

Qualifier Tickets

First 150 tickets: € 12,50
Regular: € 17,50
Last Minute (during qualifier): € 20,-

Refund Policy & Covid-19

To participate in the online qualifier and finals, athletes need to buy a ticket via Competition Corner. There is a no-refund policy for both tickets. We know that we live in a Covid-19 phase. If the government states that we cannot host the event, we will aim to move the finals. If we need to cancel, all bought tickets minus administration costs will be refunded. If you are an athlete competing from outside The Netherlands, and you are not allowed to travel to Assen, we do not offer a refund.
