Workouts
WEEK 1
WORKOUT 1 2 ROUNDS EACH (you go, I go)
30 Wall Balls RX: 20/14# Scaled: 14/10#
20 Box Jump Overs 24”/20” Scaled: Step overs
10 Double DB Devil Press RX: 50/35# Scaled: 35#/20”
Partner 1 will complete a full round of workout, while Partner 2 rests. Then Partner 2 will complete a round, as Partner 1 rests. Repeat. Completion is when 2 rounds each are completed by both partners.
Movement Standards:
Wall Balls: the medicine ball must be taken from the bottom of a squat, hip crease below the knee, and thrown to the 10’ target (green) for men or 9’ target (black) for women. Not making contact with the wall or hitting below target line will be a no-rep and must be completed again.
Box Jump Overs or Step Overs: For box jumps, athletes must start with both feet on the ground. You must have a two-foot take off (lateral jumps allowed). Either step down or rebounding is allowed. You may choose to also jump over the box. For step overs, both feet must touch the top of the box.
Devil Presses: Starting with both dumbbells in hand, either jump or step down into a burpee, ensuring that chest touches the ground. Jumping or stepping back up is acceptable. Dumbbells will then be swung through the legs into a snatch making sure to have arms lockout at the top.
TIME CAP: 25 Minutes
Split reps as needed (one partner must do at a minimum of one rep)
