About This Competition

PAIRS - ALLSTARS CHAMPIONSHIPS 15th – 16th OCTOBER 2021

Our top performers of each division from the Allstars Pairs Online qualifier will qualify to compete at the 2021 ALLSTARS CHAMPIONSHIP. 

The Allstars Championship is a three day event held in October 2021. During these three days, qualified Pairs, Individual and Teams will get to compete . It is an unforgettable in person competition experience as exiting workouts are scheduled, programmed by Brandon Swan, you get to soak in the atmosphere of like minded athletes and be in the win for some great prizes!   

NOTE: If the Pairs does not wish to attend, their spot will be given to the next athlete in line. Registration closes 8pm, 7th May 2021.

VENUE:  ANNA MEARES VELODROME, SLEEMAN SPORTS COMPLEX

PLAN B – Alternative Date if lockdown occurs:5th & 6th November
PLAN C – Extended lockdown: Virtual Event

 

WAIVER and T&Cs

All athletes must complete the Allstars Waiver prior to competing. Please have all team members complete the waiver prior to attending and competing. The waiver can be found under the 2021 Competitions Tab on the website.
Strictly no refund policy. A covid safe plan will be in place and there is an alternative plan should a lockdown within the event area occur.

Workouts

At the call of “3,2,1 Go”, the athlete 1 will move forward to the barbell. The Athlete will then perform 21 Deadlifts.
At the completion of 21 Deadlifts, the athlete will move to forward and perform 21 Handstand Push-ups, the athlete will move back
and perform 15 Deadlifts, followed by 15 Handstand Push-ups, followed by 9 Deadlifts, followed by 9 Handstand Push-ups. Once
all reps are completed the Athlete will move to the finish mat where time will be taken. At the 7-minute time cap the Athletes will
have a 1-minute rest. At the 8min Mark Athlete 2 will complete the workout in the same fashion.

At the call of “3,2,1 Go”, the athlete 1 will move forward to the barbell. The Athlete will then perform 21 Deadlifts.

and perform 15 Deadlifts, followed by 15 Handstand Push-ups, followed by 9 Deadlifts, followed by 9 Handstand Push-ups. Once
all reps are completed the Athlete will move to the finish mat where time will be taken. At the 7-minute time cap the Athletes will
have a 1-minute rest. At the 8min Mark Athlete 2 will complete the workout in the same fashion.

This event is an Indian file workout. At the call of “3, 2, 1 Go”, one team member will run forward from the start mat and start their
row. Both males and females will complete 500m on the rower in this workout. Once the first team member has completed 500m,
they will hop off and advance forward to their Thrusters. At this point, the second team member can then advance from the start
mat and commence their 500m row. At the completion of 40 reps, the athlete can then progress forward to the Rig. Once the
Thruster Station is clear, the next athlete may progress forward and begin their Thrusters. At the completion of 30 Chest to Bar, the
first team member must then run through to the finish mat. Once the Rig is clear, athlete 2 can begin their C2B Pull-ups. Once
Athlete 2 has completed their C2B pullups they will return to the start mat and record a time.

At the call of “3,2,1 Go” the first athlete will commence to perform 30 Clean and Jerks. At the completion of 30 reps, the athlete will
perform 30 Bar facing Burpees over bar. At the completion of 30 Bar facing Burpees over bar, the first athlete will tag the second
athlete, the second athlete will then perform 30 Snatches, at the completions of the snatches the athlete will complete 30 bar
facing Burpees over bar. At the completion of the burpees the second athlete will go to the finish line and record a time.

At 11:00, the team will have 7 minutes to work towards 3 RM Overhead Squat (Front Squat), with 1 athlete lifting at a time. The Lift
must be completed in full within the allocated time frame other it will be considered a no rep.

This event is a relay of 4 rounds. At the call of “3,2,1 Go” the first athlete will commence the workout. They will complete 50 Double
Unders (100 Single Skips) moving onto 16 front rack dumbbell Lunges, At the completion of the dumbbell lunges the athlete will
move to the box and complete 11 Dumbbell Box step overs, once complete the Athlete will move onto complete 9 Devils Press,
Then back to complete 11 Dumbbell Box Step overs Moving back to complete 16 Lunges, then 50 Double unders, Once the
athlete completes the 50 Double Unders the athlete will then run back down the floor and tag the next athlete. This will be
repeated by both athletes The event ends once the 4 rounds have completed the workout and last athlete has returned to the start
mat.
