About This Competition

Imperial CrossFit is excited to host its 1st annual Spring Fit Fest. This is a mixed pair (M/F) competition with RX and Scaled divisions. All teams are guaranteed 3 workouts with the top 4 teams in each division guaranteed a 4th workout.

Workout #1 - WHAT THE BLEEP!
RX

In 13 minutes:
Complete 8 rounds (I go, You go - each partner alternates every movement)
7 thrusters 95/65
7 chest to bar
7 bar-facing burpees

In time remaining:
AMRAP (athletes partition as they choose)
7 thrusters 135/95
7 bar muscle-ups
7 bar-facing burpees

SCALED

In 13 minutes:
Complete 8 rounds (I go, You go - each partner alternates every movement)
7 thrusters 65/45
7 jumping pull-ups
7 bar-facing burpees

In time remaining:
AMRAP (athletes partition as they choose)
7 thrusters 95/65
7 chin over bar pull-ups
7 bar-facing burpees

Workout #2 - GRIP...DIE...REPEAT
RX

ON THE 5:00 FOR 3 ROUNDS
Each team has 5 mins to complete Buy-in work within each round before moving on to the max effort portion.

Buy-in for each round:
100 Double-unders while one partner is performing a static deadlift hang - switch as needed.

Then, partition reps as desired (no static deadlift hold):
40 wall balls 20# to 10’ target / 14# to 9’ target
20 box jump-overs 30/24
10 deadlift 225/155

In time remaining:
RD 1: ME synchronized wall walks
RD 2: ME synchronized toes to bar
RD 3: ME HSPU; 1 partner handstand hold/1 partner me hspu

 

SCALED

ON THE 5:00 FOR 3 ROUNDS
Each team has 5 mins to complete Buy-in work within each round before moving on to the max effort portion.

Buy-in for each round:
100 single-unders while one partner is performing a static deadlift hang - switch as needed.

Then, partition reps as desired (no static deadlift hold):
40 wall balls 14# to 10’ target / 10# to 9’ target
20 box step-overs 24/20
10 deadlift 135/95

In time remaining:
RD 1: ME synchronized scaled wall walks
RD 2: ME synchronized knee ups
RD 3: ME hand-release push ups, 1 partner planked out Push-up static hold/1 partner me HR Push-ups
