About This Competition
Summer’s coolest sports festival is here again - crown your summer with a challenge!
Tuomiopäivä is a CrossFit-licensed competition and a joyful sports festival in the heart of Turku, Finland. It has attracted athletes from all over the world and has received much praise for the exceptional organizing, cool venue and spectacular atmosphere.
The globally recognized, 9-time CrossFit Games athlete Jonne Koski programs the competition events, guaranteeing a unique challenge each year. Additionally, Tuomiopäivä stands out for its dynamic outdoor settings; beyond the main venue, we always include at least one special event location. So be prepared for anything!
The CrossFit licensed competition Turku Tuomiopäivä is held in Turku, Finland from June 26th to the 28th, 2025.
ELITE
Elite athletes compete from Thursday to Saturday, June 26-28, 2025. After the qualifier, the top 15 men and 15 women will earn a spot in the Elite division. Additionally, 5 male and 5 female athletes are invited to compete without a qualifier.
The top three Elite athletes on the podium will receive prize money. Prize pool is distributed as follows: €4000 for first place, €2000 for second, and €1000 for third.
Elite division competitor ticket price is €249 + platform fee. The competitor ticket includes one coach ticket, lunch on all three competition days, a goodiebad and a nameplate.
RX
RX athletes compete from Friday to Saturday, June 27-28, 2025. The RX division consists of 40 men and 40 women, who are selected for the competition based on the qualifier -athletes placed 16th - 55th will receive an invitation to compete in the RX division.
No CrossFit movements have been excluded from the competition programming, but the competition events are, in terms of both repetitions and weights, somewhat lighter in the RX division than in the Elite division.
RX division competitor ticket price is €199 + platform fee. The competitor ticket includes one coach ticket, lunch on both competition days, a goodiebag and a nameplate.
REFUND AND INSURANCE POLICY
Competitor tickets are non-refundable. If you have confirmed your competitor spot, but cannot participate, please contact info@turkutuomiopaiva.com.
Competitors are not insured by the event organization. Competition Corner offers the option to purchase enhanced refund protection upon your competitor registration. For any questions regarding the refund protection, please contact Competition Corner directly.
The Elite division (20+20) will start the competition on Thursday and compete until Saturday (26.-28.6.2025). The RX-division will compete on Friday and Saturday (27.-28.6.2025).
QUALIFIERS
The qualification period lasts two weeks: the qualifier starts on Monday, March 31th at 10:00 AM (UTC+3) and ends on Sunday, April 13th, 2024 at 10:00 PM (UTC+3).
The qualifying events will be announced at the start of the qualifier and they will be the same for both divisions.
Registration for the qualifier opens on January 2025.
Once the qualifiers have concluded (on Sunday, April 13th 10 pm UTC+03:00) and the leaderboard is finalized, event organizers will send out invitations to the onsite event in Turku in June. Any eligible athlete wishing to participate must accept their invitation and register for the Final before the announced duedate. As a Crossfit licensed event Turku Tuomiopäivä is applying Turku Tuomiopäivä Rulebook 2025.
All advancing athletes will be asked to submit videos of all test performances for review. All videos submitted for review must adhere to the video submission guidelines provided.
