About This Competition

No refunds of any kind, substitutions allowed for same division

Heats will begin at 9am and go until 3pm. 

Athlete check in begins at 8am, workout briefing at 8:30am 

All workouts and standards will be released by June 1

Event 1A - RX 

AMRAP10 

10 Toes to bar 

8 Burpee Box Jump Overs (24/20)

8 S2OH (Two 50/35lb dumbbells) 


Event 1 - Movement standards: 


Toes to Bar: both feet must touch the bar at the same time for a completed rep. Heels must pass behind the plane of the bar in the swing. 


Burpee Box Jump Overs: chest must touch the ground on the burpee, may jump or step back and forward. Both feet must leave the ground and land at the same time on the box during the jump. Do not need to stand on the box when crossing over.


S2OH: Dumbbells comes from the ground at the beginning of each set. Elbows must begin in front of the body. Arms, legs and knees must clearly and fully lockout. May not drop the dumbbells overhead, guide to hips and drop. Otherwise, no rep. 

 

Event 1B

Goose Games '22 Complex

8 minutes to build to a clean + cluster may be power or squat clean, directly into a squat clean thruster. Must be touch n go, one smooth movement in the thruster.

 

Event 2 - RX 


3 - 2:00 rounds /:30 reset

Event 2 Movement Standards 

 

Calorie row: Row will begin with handle in the catch. Erg starts at 0 calories. Must reach total of 12/9 for RX, 10/8 for Intermediate and Scaled before leaving erg. Do not let the handle fly, must return to catch. 

 

Lunges:


Overhead: Can get bar overhead in clean and jerk or snatch. Alternating forward stepping lunges. Athlete’s knee must touch the ground on each rep. Bar must stay overhead for every rep. Do not drop overhead, guide to the ground, otherwise - no rep. Front Rack: Alternating forward stepping lunges. Athlete’s knee must touch the ground on each rep. Elbows must be in front of the bar path for all reps. Dumbbell Lunges: Alternating forward stepping lunges. Athlete’s knee must touch the ground on each rep. Can hold the dumbbells however: front rack, suitcase style, etc. 


Handstand push ups: Both heels must start and finish each rep on the wall. Arms must fully and clearly lock out for every rep. Hands (including fingers) must stay within marked box of 40x24. Reps do not need to be an unbroken set. 


Wall Balls: May go directly into a squat for the first rep. Hip crease must be below the knee. Ball must hit 10' target for men and 9' target for women, in between the two bolts (middle of the target). Reps do not need to be unbroken.

 

RX Standards 


Chest to bar


Begin rep in full hang, Feet may not touch the ground 

at the start of the rep.


Overhand grip.


Chest (under the collar bone) touches the bar for a completed rep. 


Heels pass behind the plane of the bar in the swing. 


Squat Snatch 


Bars will come from the ground 


Squat must reach full depth, hip crease

Below the knee


Completed rep must include lockout of knees, hips and arms.


Cannot drop overhead, guide to ground - otherwise no rep. 


Double Unders


Rope passes below feet twice per jump for each rep


Intermediate Standards 


Chin Over Bar


Begin rep in full hang, Feet may not touch the ground 

at the start of the rep.


Overhand grip.


Chin goes over the bar for a completed rep. 


Heels pass behind the plane of the bar in the swing. 


Power Snatch 


Bars will come from the ground 


Hips cannot go below hip crease 


Completed rep must include lockout of knees, hips and arms.

Completed rep must include lockout of knees, hips and arms.


Cannot drop overhead, guide to ground - otherwise no rep. 


Single Unders
