Second Annual Americas Hometown Throwdown 

Where - CrossFit1620

When - Saturday September 9 2023 0730

Why - To bring together athletes and spectators across the New England area who love the community and sport of CrossFit

What - An RX and Intermediate CrossFit Athlete Partner competition (M/M) (F/F).  20 teams per division. Guaranteed 4 events for all teams (3 workouts/1 floater).  Top 3 teams of each division will podium.

Prizes- All Podium finishers in each division will receive miscellaneous items from top name sponsors and donators such as Mayhem Nation, TYR, AirWaav, Nocco, Barebells to name a few. Possible Cash prizes per division depending on team sign ups! More teams in your division = More cash if you win!

DOUBLE UNDERS

GHD SIT UPS (Rx) ABMAT SIT-UPS (INT)

TOES TO BAR (Rx) KNEES TO ELBOW (INT)

KB SWINGS (70/53) (53/35)

BARBELL CYCLING (135/105) (115/75)

ROW/BIKE/SKI

BAR MUSCLE UPS (Rx) CHEST TO BAR (INT)

TWO DIVISIONS: M/M F/F RX and M/M F/F INTERMEDIATE.  TOP 3 TEAMS OF EACH DIVISION WILL PODIUM.  A MINIMUM OF 10 TEAMS REQUIRED PER DIVISION.

2 Front Squats

1 Shoulder to Overhead

Each partner works for 2:00, Score is Burpees Completed

 

Athletes will have 2:00 to push the sled max distance down-and-back on a 50ft lane. P1 will push for 1:00, P2 will pick up where P1 left off for 1:00-2:00.

*Every 10ft = 1 Rep*

For Time: 10MIN CAP

1600m Run

60 Single KB Goblet Squats

50 Single KB Hang Cleans

40 Single KB Push Jerks

Cash Out: 20 Bar Muscle-ups/ Burpee Pull-ups

RX(70/53) Int.(53/35)

*One partner is always working on the Air Runner until the run is completed.

Split work as desired between run and KB Movements.
