About This Competition

Here at Blacklisted HQ one of our goals is to get as many people as possible competing at as high of a level as they can.  We are looking to help do this through John's Wooley fundraiser "Adapt to the competition" which is seeking to encourage more participation in the open this year for the adaptive divisions. The money from his fundraise will be given to top 3 finishers at the Semifinals adaptive divisions; Short Stature, Vision, Intellectual, Seated with Hip Function & Seated without Hip Function. Their Seasons are going to be ending at semifinals, with hopes of being able to include them at the games next year. 

 

We are looking to create a fun and inclusive way to bring in more money for this fundraiser doing what we want to see more of in the community, competing. We have decided to put on a One Day, 3 workout, online compeititon with all proceeds going towards John's fundraiser. The cost will be $25 a person, featuring two divisions Male and Female Rx. If there is interest in other divisions we will look at opening those up later on. 

 

There will be a no refunds for this competition, so if you are on the fence about competing, or not sure if you are going to be able to make it work, please donate directly to John's GoFundMe, Here. 

 

The workouts will be released on our Instagram Starting @ 9AM EST Jan 15th and will be released every 2 hours from there. Movement Standards and workout descriptions can be found on our Instagram or YouTube Channel. Workouts will be due Sunday Jan 16th at 9am. Registration will begin on Wed Dec 8th at Midnight, and go until close of the competition Jan 16th at 9am. This competition will be a blind leaderboard.

We will be providing the winners from the Male and Female division with $100. We will also be requiring videos submissions for these winner to be eligible so ensure that you video your workouts! See CFG rule book for rules and standards for video'ing workouts. 

 

The Equipment list will be that of The Open. In order to including as many people as possible in this though we will be leaving out skills such as Muscle Ups, Pistols, and you should look to atleast be able to Snatch 135/95. Workouts and division requirements are subject to change if we do get more inquiries about other divisions.
