About This Competition

Agema's Winters War individual competition is already a highly anticipated event of the year!

The online qualifiers will be held over 3 weeks, and open to all abilities and athletes. One of the best things about this comp is that you can participate whether you local box is here in Tassie or on the mainland, you can complete from anywhere!

Workouts will be released Thursday 12pm and score submissions will be open from Friday 7am to Sunday 12pm and the leader board will be updated each week.
At the completion of the 3 weeks, the top 12 male and female from both scaled and RX'd divisions will be invited to throw down at the finals!


Registration is $15 for the online qualifiers. 
Finals athletes registration is $55, which includes comp tee and athlete pack.


Comp tee's can also be purchased, with delivery for tee's at the start of May. Athletes that make the final will receive a secondary tee in their pack which will be an alternative design, a surprise design!

Workouts

- ON AN 8 MIN RUNNING CLOCK - 

AMRAP 5

Aim to score as many reps as possible in 5 minutes of:

10 goblet squats (20/16kg RX, 16/12kg Scaled)

8 kbell swings (American, 24/16kg RX, 16/12kg Scaled)

6 burpees to plate (10kg plate mens, 5kg plate womens both divisions)

1 rep equals 1 point

 

Then immediately after 3 mins to find a 1 rep max clean (squat or power) Every kilo equals a point.

Score is reps+kilos for total points

Tie break score is the total reps after the AMRAP 5. 

On a 14 minute running clock

AMRAP 2 - Max calories on Concept2 Rower

REST 2 MINUTES

AMRAP 2 - Max overhead squats 50kg/35kg
(scaled - Front squats 50kg/35kg)

REST 2 MINUTES

AMRAP 2 - Max Toes to Bar
(scaled - high knees)

REST 2 MINUTES

AMRAP 2 - Max alt. dumbell snatches 22.5kg/15kg
(scaled - 15kg/10kg)
