About This Competition

We are back underground


This time it's same sex teams of 4


Registration 10.45

First workout 11.30

Workout Heats 11.30 - 3.30


Final 4pm


Prizes 4.30pm


A series of 3 workouts focused on team work and endurance followed by a head to head final


3 x 17 minute workouts plus a final


Workouts will be released 2 weeks before the event.


Outtrain is functional fitness, no Gymnastics or Olympic lifting.


This competition is intermediate level example weights below


Female DBs Single 15kg, Dual 12.5kg upwards

Male DBs single 17.5kg, Dual 20kg upwards

Female Sandbag 40kg

Male sandbag 50kg


Prizes from Lululemon, Tenzing and Eleat


Full address is 50/60 Station Road Cambridge CB12JH. 5 minutes walk from Cambridge station. Entrance is on Warrens close by the cycle store gate. On the Wework side of the building. Doors will be open at 10.45am.


There is space to change and freshen up on site, please bring warm clothes for when not working. Please bring water bottle , there is refill taps on site.

80 Deadlift  @ 60kg (20rep per athlete)

16 Jerry can relay (Each athlete must complete 4 lengths) there/ back is 2 lengths

60 Front squat @ 40kg (15reps per athlete) Athletes can help rack if needed

16 Bear crawl (Each athlete must complete4 lengths) there/back is 2 lengths

40 Bar FTOH @ 20kg (10reps per athlete)

Scored in 2 parts – PART A Time chipper completed & PART B jerry can lengths

Movements – DB Hang clean, DB Reverse lunge, DB Thrusters 3 athletes SYNCHRO


In each block keep cycling through in the given time.

P2,P3,P4 – Complete 8 reps of all 3 movements in synchro

TEAM – 5 Synchro down ups


Once down ups are complete team can rotate if time allows

TEAM – 5 Synchro down ups

P2,P3,P4 – Complete 12 reps of all 3 movements in synchro

TEAM – 5 Synchro down ups

Scored in 2 parts - PART A DB reps and PART B Total ski Cals


Weights:


Female – Dual 15g, 15kg, 12.5kg


Divide weights how you wish - weights can only be changed at the end of a block and not during.


All 4 athletes complete down ups in synchro

P1 – 500m row

P2 – 1500m bike

P3/P4 YGIG burpee box jump


Burpees are working until both ergs distance are complete

Athletes may choose how they rotate at the end of each round only.


Once both distances are complete this marks the end of a round

Both must reach the target distance before you can restart the next round.


Scored in 2 parts PART A on total distance & PART B on Burpee Reps all rounds combined
