About This Competition

It's finally here! After a tremendous showing at the Battle of the Badges and over $1250 raised to benefit the Chesapeake Public Safety Memorial Foundation, we are excited to announce the next event in our battle series, the Battle of the Branches. Join us at Chesapeake on May 30, 2015 for an all out throwdown to honor all who currently serve and those have served in the United States Military. The Battle of the Branches will be an individual competition and will have both men's and women's scaled and Rx divisions. Proceeds from the event will directly benefit Vetshouse Inc., a 12 month program that helps homeless veterans in the Hampton Roads area by providing contemporary living quarters, assistance in job hunting, transportation, personal skills and development guidance.
Registration opens April 15 and those who register by May 10 will also receive a free Battle of the Branches event shirt. Compete for honor, prizes, and the coveted Defined Athletics Battle Trophy, which will be hosted at the winning affiliate's military affiliation until the next battle event!
We are also currently seeking sponsors and vendors to be a part of the Battle! If you or someone you know is interested, please contact us at sales@definedathletics.com.
Rx Athletes should be proficient in all gymnastics movements and be able to handle 135# (Men) and 95# (Women) barbell movements.
