The Farm Games 25 brings together teams of six (3 x males + 3 x females) for a summer fitness competition featuring five farm-inspired workouts designed to push your strength, endurance, and teamwork to the limit. Workouts
Part A: 0–14 minutes – 3RM Thruster (From the Rack)
Workout Description:
Athletes have 14 minutes to establish a 3-rep max thruster. Each athlete lifts one at a time. The bar will start in a squat rack, not on the floor.
Notes:
- Choice of 15 kg or 20 kg barbell
- Collars must be used
- Bar cannot be dropped or re-racked between reps
- Teams must re-rack their weights after all athletes have lifted
14–15 minutes: REST
Part B: 15–20 minutes – Sandbag to Shoulder Ladder (Max Load)
- 2 Minutes 30 seconds time cap per gender (Women: 2:30, then Men: 2:30)
- Each athlete may complete up to 3 reps on their turn
Weights:
- Women: 30 kg, 40 kg, 50 kg
- Men: 50 kg, 70 kg, 90 kg
Scoring System:
- Light bag = 1 point
- Medium bag = 3 points
- Heavy bag = 5 points
Score = Max Load from 3RM Thruster + Total Sandbag Points
Part B: 15–20 minutes – Sandbag to Shoulder Ladder (Max Load)
- 2 Minutes 30 seconds time cap per gender (Women: 2:30, then Men: 2:30)
- Each athlete may complete up to 3 reps on their turn
Weights:
- Women: 30 kg, 40 kg, 50 kg
- Men: 50 kg, 70 kg, 90 kg
Scoring System:
- Light bag = 1 point
- Medium bag = 3 points
- Heavy bag = 5 points
Score = Total Sandbag Points
Entire team begins with the Team Tyre Flip.
Once the tyre flip is completed, the team splits into male/female pairs.
Each pair completes the next section in order.
The Hussafell bag must be placed down at the end of each round to signal it's ready for the next pair.
A new pair may begin only once the pair in front has moved on to the Hussafell carry.
Movements & Standards:
1. Team Tyre Flip – 20m (10m out / 10m back)
- The full team flips the tyre together.
- Total distance: 20 meters (10 meters out, then 10 meters back).
- Must be fully completed before progressing to the next movement.
2. 6 x Ground to Overhead (GTOH) Synchro
- Performed by male/female pairs in sync.
- Athletes must reach full lockout overhead at the same time.
- Males: 45kg log
- Females: 30kg axle
3. Hussafell Carry – 20m (10m out / 10m back)
- Completed individually by each athlete in the pair.
- Males: 60kg
- Females: 40kg
- Entire 20m distance must be carried (10m out, 10m back).
- Bag must be placed down after the carry to signal the next pair may start.
Scoring:
- Score = Total reps completed within the 15-minute time cap
EVENT FIVE: HARVEST HUSTLE
Time Cap: 20 Minutes
Score = Time Completed (or reps if capped)
Workout Structure
This is a team worm workout (Worm Weight: 80kg) completed in 4 blocks:
BLOCKS (Work in order):
- Block 1: 60 Worm Squats
- Block 2: 60 Worm Cleans
- Block 3: 60 Worm Thrusters
- Block 4: 60 Worm Shoulder-to-Shoulder
BURPEE SHUTTLE RUNS
After every 30 reps in each block:
- 3 Team members complete burpee shuttle runs (Worm must remain off the floor throughout)
- If worm goes down shuttle runs must stop.
- 3 Team members must hold the worm off the floor.
- Shuttle distance decreases each time:
BLOCK 1: 2 x 20M Burpee Shuttle Runs
BLOCK 2: 4 x 15M Burpee Shuttle Runs
BLOCK 3: 6 x 10M Burpee Shuttle Runs
BLOCK 4 8 x 5M Burpee Shuttle Runs
WORM CARRY
After completing each block:
- Teams carry the worm to the next station/area before starting the next block
SCORE = TIME COMPLETE
Time Cap: 20 Minutes
Scoring: Time to Complete the Workout
Workout Description:
The Team will complete the following sequence for time, within a 20-minute cap:
- 1500 meters on a machine (Row, Ski, or Row)
- 400 meter run
- 1000 meters on a machine (Row, Ski, or Row)
- 400 meter run
- 500 meters on a machine (Row, Ski, or Row)
- 400 meter run
EVENT FOUR: YARD WORK
Time Cap: 15 Minutes
Workout Flow
- Teams are divided into 2 sub-teams of 3.
- Sub-teams alternate every 3 minutes between part A & B.
- Part A & B working concurrently.
PART A: MAX CALS – BIKE + SKI
- accumulating as many calories as possible on the Bike and Ski Erg.
- Calories continue to accumulate across all rounds.
- Athletes may switch within the 3-minute window.
PART B: SYNCRO DB COMPLEX
Buy-In :21 Box Jump Overs Waterfall style (BJO)
Complete AMRAP for the remaining time:
- 9 Synchronised DB Deadlifts 20/15/12.5KG
- 6 Synchronised DB Hang Clean + Press 20/15/12.5KG
- 3 Synchronised Devil’s Press 20/15/12.5KG
