About This Competition

 

Girls Gone Rx is so much more than just another competition. Our events are brought together by women who are extremely dedicated to empowerment and uplifting others. We focus on Competing For a Cure throughout our communities.

Girls Gone Rx focuses on community over competition; celebrating all the powerful women who want to change the world. All of our events benefit Breast Cancer Charities around the globe!

Divisions details to help you decide what to register for-

RX Division :: Your team can efficiently do the following: pull-ups, double unders, & handstand pushups. Can efficiently do a full Squat Snatch and/or full Squat Clean & Jerk at or above 95lbs.

BAM Division (Badass In the Making) :: Athletes that are new to the competition scene or beginners. Needs to do modifications like jumping pull-ups, new to olympic lifting, and needs to modify most of the workouts.

 

Dallas County has been upgraded to red, the highest Coronavirus threat level, which is just one of the many reasons why we are going without spectators (reminder each team of 3 may have 1 coach inside with them) plus workout 4 is entirely outside.
We hope this strict level of precautions helps us control how many people we will have at our facility for the safety of all of the competitors, our volunteers, and community as a whole.

800m Burden Run
Athlete A: ruck 30/20lbs 
Athlete B: sandbag 70/40lbs
Athlete C: plate carry 45/25lbs 

With Remaining Time: Max Cals, Ski Erg & Assault Bike

RX- AMRAP in 9 Minutes:
20 Dumbbell Box Step Ups 20”/35lbsx2
30 Dumbbell Clean & Jerk 35lbsx2
40 Burpee Box Jump Over 20”
50 Alternating Dumbbell Snatch 35lbsx1

While one Athlete is working on the AMRAP, one Athlete is resting, and one Athlete is standing tall holding a 24kg Kettlebell, with the bell up, hands above elbows, and 2 hands on the Kettlebell.

BAM- AMRAP in 9 Minutes:
20 Dumbbell Box Step Ups 20”/20lbsx2
30 Dumbbell Clean & Jerk 20lbsx2
40 Burpee Box Jump Over 20”
50 Alternating Dumbbell Snatch 20lbsx1

While one Athlete is working on the AMRAP, one Athlete is resting, and one Athlete is standing tall holding a 16kg Kettlebell, with the bell up, hands above elbows, and 2 hands on the Kettlebell.
