KTX Games Online Individual & RX Team Qualifier
About This Competition
INDIVIDUAL ELITE INFORMATION
We are excited to bring elite individuals to demonstrate the highest level of fitness in Katy, Texas!
- 30 individual males and 30 individual females will compete for the largest cash prize pool!
- 20 males and 20 females will qualify during the online qualifier.
The remaining 10 spots are reserved for invitation to CrossFit Games qualifiers followed by CrossFit Semi-Finals qualifiers.
- The ELITE online qualifier takes place over 2 consecutive weeks, August 9th-13th and August 16-20th.
- Each week, athletes have Wednesday-Sunday to complete the workouts and submit scores.
- This division is for the best of the best individual athletes. Competitors in this division are expected to have performed all workouts in the 2023 Open as prescribed with no scales or modifications.
- Additionally, the vast majority of athletes vying to compete in this division should be aspiring semi-final athletes, and/or competed in the online quarterfinals.

RX TEAM INFORMATION
- RX 2-Person Team
- Male+Male and Female+ Female 2-person teams
- 20 male teams and 20 female teams will compete at the KTX Games!
- The top 15 teams will qualify by competing in the online qualifier.
The remaining 5 sports are reserved for invitation to any previous KTX Games RX podium winners. To claim your spot email GAMES@KTX.FIT .
*Any team that does not qualify RX will have an opportunity to pre-register for the intermediate division.
- The team qualifier is one week only and takes place August 20-30th.
- Athletes do not have to be from the same gym in order to form a team.
- Athletes do not have to perform the qualifier workouts in the same gym or at the same time. All workouts are designed to be completed individually.
Athletes in this division are expected to have performed all workouts in the 2023 Open as prescribed with no scales or modifications.

KTX Games Individual Qualifier 23.2 A: "ENGINE SKILLS"
FOR MAX REPS: (12:00 AMRAP)
50 Double Unders
15 Overhead Squats (MALE 135LBS) (FEMALE 95LBS)
15 Toes to Bar
40' Handstand Walk (20' increments)
FLOW:
The workout begins with the jump rope in the athlete's hands.
Athletes will complete as many reps as possible in 12 minutes of 50 double unders, followed by 15 overhead squats, then 15 toes to bar, and 40' handstand walk (20 ft. down and 20 ft. back).
*All handstand walks must be completed in 10' minimum per attempt. If both hands fail to cross the 10' line you must return to the previous section and try again.
All reps must be completed before moving to the next movement.
Athletes will have from 12:00 until 20:00 on the clock to complete 23.2 B
VIDEO SUBMISSION STANDARDS:
Videos must be uncut/edited.
Athletes must state name.
Athletes must show barbell weight with standard size bumper plates.
Athletes may use a timer app (such as WODPROOF) or have a clock clearly visable throughout the entire workout.
Athletes should position the camera to clearly showing:
1. squat depth - we must be able to clearly see the hip crease relative to the knees
2. body with rope and barbell in full frame
3. a pull-up bar clearly showing the toes touching the bar
4. handstand walk lines clearly marked with 10ft increments
SCORING:
The score is the total number of reps completed in 12 minutes.
Each 10' handstand = 10 reps

MOVEMENT STANDARDS:
Overhead Squats
-The bar must start on the ground. No racks allowed.
-Hip crease must pass below the knees.
-The rep is completed when the bar is directly above or slighlty behind the head with the hips and knees fully extended.
Toes to Bar
-The athlete must start in a dead hang with the arms fully extended and feet off the ground.
-The toes must clearly touch the bar at the same time.
-The arms must return to a fully extended position with the heels behind the bar each rep.
-Grips are allowed.
-A gymnastics "rod" or "pins" attached to the grips is not allowed.
Handstand Walk
-The ground must be clearly marked at the start, 10 ft , and 20 ft lines.
-Both hands (including the palms) must clearly pass each 10' section for the rep to count.
-The athlete may start with the hands in front of the line as long as both feet remain behind the line until the hands touch the floor.
-Each 10' section is equal to 10 reps. (40 reps total per round).
KTX Games Individual Qualifier 23.2 B: "MAX LIFT"
23.2 B is Immediately following 22.2 A until 20:00 on the clock.
FOR MAX LOAD: (8:00 time cap)
5 Rep Max Overhead Squat
-A set is valid as long as the bar is off the ground before the 20:00 mark.
FLOW:
The max lift begins immediately after 23.2 A with the barbell on the ground.
No racks will be used.
Athletes will have 8:00 to find a 5 rep max overhead squat.
VIDEO SUBMISSION STANDARDS:
Videos must be uncut/edited.
Athletes must show barbell weight and all weights used.
Athletes may use a timer app (such as WODPROOF) or have a clock clearly visable throughout the entire workout.
Athletes should position the camera to clearly show squat depth and body with barbell in full frame.

The score is the max weight completed for 5 reps.

Overhead Squats

KTX Games Individual Qualifier 23.3: "INSANE ASYLUM"
FOR MAX REPS: (20:00 amrap)
120' DB Farmer's Carry (3x 20' down+ 20' back)
+2 ASCENDING DB Burpee Box Step Overs
DB WEIGHT: (MALE 2x 50LB DB) (FEMALE 2x 35LB DB)
BOX HEIGHT: (MALE 24") (FEMALE 20")
FLOW:
The workout begins with the athlete at the start of the 20' line and the DBs on the ground.
Athletes will pick up both dummbells and complete a 120 ft. farmers carry going down 20 ft. and returning 20 ft. for a total of 3 trips down and back.
After 120 ft. has been completed, athletes will then complete 2 DB burpee box step overs on round 1 and continue to add 2 reps each round thereafter.
The farmers carry will remain 120 ft. for the entirety of the workout.
EX: Round 1 = 2 DB BBSO, Round 2 = 4 DB BBSO, Round 3 = 6 DB BBSO..
VIDEO SUBMISSION STANDARDS:
Videos must be uncut/edited.
Athletes must state name and clearly mark/measure 20 ft. lines and the proper box height.
Athletes must show dumbbell weights.
Athletes may use a timer app (such as WODPROOF) or have a clock clearly visable throughout the entire workout.
Athletes should position the camera to clearly show burpee and farmer carry standards have been met.
SCORING:
The score is the total reps completed in 20:00.
Farmers carry - each 20' section = 1 rep = 6 reps total per round

MOVEMENT STANDARDS:
Farmers Carry
-The dumbbells must be held below the shoulders. No front or back rack carry is allowed (ONLY FOR THE CARRY).
-Both feet must touch OR pass the line.
-The heels DO NOT need to cross the line as long as both feet have clearly reached.
-The DBs must be dropped and picked up passed the line.
DB Burpee Box Step Overs
-Athletes may hold the DBs however they decide as long as they do not come in contact with the box.
-Athletes must bring both dumbbells to the ground each rep.
-At the bottom of the burpee athletes must clearly touch the chest and thighs to the ground.
-There is no standard for getting up from the ground.
-Athletes may get the DBs off the ground any way as long as the burpee standard has been met.
-Both feet must come in contact with the top of the box on the step overs.
-The rep is counted when both feet have reached the ground on the opposite side of the box.
KTX Games Individual Qualifier 23.4: "BRICK POWERHOUSE"
FOR TIME:
500 Meter Row
20 Cleans (225/155)
FLOW:
The workout begins with the athlete on the rower.
Athletes will row 500 meters.
After 500 meters has been reached athletes will then complete 20 cleans.
The score is the total time.
VIDEO SUBMISSION STANDARDS:
Videos must be uncut/edited.
Athletes must state name and show monitor screen starting at 0 and ending at 500 meters.
Athletes must show barbell and weights.
Athletes may use a timer app (such as WODPROOF) or have a clock clearly visable throughout the entire workout.
Athletes should position the camera to clearly show the rower monitor and angle of athlete clearly showing standards are met.
SCORING:
The score is the total time.
For time cap add +1 second for all reps not completed.

MOVEMENT STANDARDS:
Clean
All variations of the clean are allowed as long as the barbell begins on the ground and ends in the front rack position with the elbows in front of the bar and the knees and hips fully extended.
KTX Games Individual Qualifier 23.1: "EXECUTE"
FOR TIME: (10:00 time cap)
40 Chest to Bar Pull-Ups
50 Snatch (Any variation) (MALE 75LBS) (FEMALE 55LBS)
60 Wall Balls (MALE 10' TARGET | 20LBS) (FEMALE 9' TARGET | 14LBS)
FLOW:
The workout begins with the athlete under the pull-up bar.
Athletes will complete all 40 chest to bar pull-ups, followed by all 50 snatches, and finish with 60 walls balls.
All reps must be completed before moving to the next movement.
VIDEO SUBMISSION STANDARDS:
Videos must be uncut/edited.
Athletes must state name and measure the wall ball height.
Athletes must show ball and barbell weight with standard size bumper plates.
Athletes may use a timer app (such as WODPROOF) or have a clock clearly visable throughout the entire workout.
Athletes should position the camera to clearly show squat depth, wall ball target, body with barbell in full frame, and pull-up bar clearly showing the chest touching the bar.
SCORING:
The score is the time ist takes to finish the workout. If the athlete exceeds the time cap, they will recieve a 1 second penalty for each rep not completed.

MOVEMENT STANDARDS:
Wall Balls
-Hip crease must pass below the knees.
-Ball must hit the target clearly above the measurement.
Snatch
-Squat, power, and muscle snatch are all allowed.
-The barbell must touch the ground each rep.
-The rep is completed when the bar is directly above or slightly behind the head with the elbows, hips, and knees fully extended.
-A hang snatch is allowed as long as the bar returns back to the ground and the lockout standards have been met.
Chest to Bar Pull-Ups
-The athlete must start in a dead hang with the arms fully extended and feet off the ground.
-The chest must clearly touch the bar.
-The arms must return to a fully extended position each rep.
-Grips are allowed.
-A gymnastics "rod" or "pins" attached to the grips is not allowed.
RX TEAM WORKOUT 1- Diane
*Teams will select 1 athlete to complete CrossFit Benchmark "Diane" for time immediately followed by (WORKOUT 3):
21 Deadlifts (MALE 225) (FEMALE 155lb)
21 Handstand push-ups
15 Deadlifts (225/155lb)
15 Handstand push-ups
9 Deadlifts (225/155lb)

FLOW
Athlete 1 will complete 21-15-9 deadlifts and handstand push-ups for time. As soon as Diane is completed, the same athlete will have until 9:00 on the clock to find a 1 rep max clean (WORKOUT 3).
SCORING
There is a 6:00 time cap. Add +1 second for each rep not completed by the time cap.
All scores must be submitted by Wednesday, August 30th at 7:00PM CST.

MOVEMENT STANDARDS
Deadlift
The bar must start on the ground and return to the ground each rep.
Bending the arms to bounce the weight off the ground will not count.
The rep is complete when the athlete's knees and hips are fully extended with the shoulders slightly behind the bar.
Handstand Push-Ups
The inside of the box for the HSPU must measure 40 inches wide x 24 inches deep.
The rep must start with the arms fully extended with the heels against the wall.
The hands must stay inside the box.
If any part of the hand, including the fingers, touches the box line at any time, the rep will not count.
At the bottom, the head must come in contact with the ground.
The feet do not need to remain in contact with the wall for the duration of the movement, but the feet must return to the wall to complete each rep.
Each rep is credited when the athlete returns to the lockout position with the heels on the wall, arms, hips, and legs fully extended; and shoulders in line with the body.
RX TEAM WORKOUT 2- Slightly Heavier Grace
*Teams will select 1 athlete to complete "slightly Heavier Grace" for time immediately followed by (WORKOUT 3):
30 Clean and jerks (MALE 155) (FEMALE 105)
FLOW
Athlete 2 will complete 30 clean and jerks for time. As soon as Slightly Heavier Grace is completed, the same athlete will have until 9:00 on the clock to find a 1 rep max clean and jerk (WORKOUT 3).
SCORING
There is a 6:00 time cap. Add +1 second for each rep not completed by the time cap.
All scores must be submitted by Wednesday, August 30th at 7:00PM CST.

MOVEMENT STANDARDS
Clean and Jerk
All variations of the clean are allowed as long as the bar returns to the ground each rep.
The rep is completed when the athlete has the bar overhead with the knees, hips, and elbows fully extended and the feet in line.
Any variation of a shoulder to overhead is allowed as long as the completed standards have been met.
Skipping the shoulder (any snatch variation) will not be counted.
Touch & go reps are permitted but bending the elbows to bounce the weights off the ground will not be counted.
RX TEAM WORKOUT 3- MAX CLEAN + MAX CLEAN AND JERK
Athlete 1 will have until 9:00 on a running clock to find a 1 rep max clean. The running clock starts with workout 1.
Athlete 2 will have until 9:00 on a running clock to find a 1 rep max clean and jerk. The running clock starts with workout 2.
The score is the combined total of athlete 1's max clean + athlete 2's max clean and jerk.
FLOW
Athlete 1 will complete 21-15-9 deadlifts and handstand push-ups for time. As soon as Diane is completed, the same athlete will have until 9:00 on the clock to find a 1 rep max clean (WORKOUT 3).
Athlete 2 will complete 30 clean and jerks for time. As soon as Heavy Grace is completed, the same athlete will have until 9:00 on the clock to find a 1 rep max clean and jerk (WORKOUT 3).
SCORING
The score is the combined total of athlete 1's max clean + athlete 2's max clean and jerk.
All scores must be submitted by Wednesday, August 30th at 7:00PM CST.

MOVEMENT STANDARDS
Clean
All variations of the clean are allowed as long as the barbell begins on the ground and ends in the front rack position, with the elbows in front of the bar, and the knees and hips fully extended.
Clean and Jerk
All variations of the clean are allowed.
The rep is completed when the athlete has the bar overhead with the knees, hips, and elbows fully extended and the feet in line.
RX TEAM WORKOUT 4- Twin Turbo
*Both athletes will complete as many reps as possible in 16:00 for a combined total score:
20 Row Cals
15 Burpees Over the Rower (facing)
10 50ft.Shuttle Runs (25' down + 25' back)
FLOW
Athletes will begin on the rower with the monitor reset to zero calories.
Upon completion of 20 row calories, the athlete will then complete 15 burpees jumping over the rower. The athlete must face perpindicular to the rower. Lateral burpees and stepping over will not be counted.
After 15 burpees over the rower have been completed the athlete will then complete 10 reps of a 50ft. shuttle run. Each 50ft. shuttle run will be 25ft. down and 25ft. back.
After a full round has been completed, the athlete will return to the rower, always resetting the monitor to zero calories.
SCORING
The score is the total combined reps of both athletes.

MOVEMENT STANDARDS
Row
The monitor must be set to zero each round.
Athletes may use assistance to reset the monitors.
Burpees Over the Rower
Chest and thighs must clearly come in contact with the ground facing the rower's track (the part that the seat slides on).
Athletes must jump over the rower. A leap or step up into a jump is acceptable.
Stepping over the rower will not be counted.
Shuttle Runs
The feet must start behind the line.
Both feet and one hand must touch the ground behind over the line.
On the final shuttle, the athlete does not need to touch the ground before getting on to the rower.
RX TEAM WORKOUT 5- You've Got a Friend in Me
*Athlete 1 will complete A for time.
*Athlete 2 will complete B for time.
The score is the total combined time A+B.

FLOW
Athletes will complete either A or B individually.
A.
The workout begins with barbell on the ground. All 50 front squats will be completed before moving to the double unders. Upon completion of 150 double unders, the athlete will then finish with 40 toes to bar. The time stops after the last toes to bar rep has been completed.
B.
The workout begins with the athlete underneath the pull-up bar. All 40 pull ups will be completed before moving to the double unders. Upon completetion of 150 double unders, the athlete will then finish with 20 front squats from the ground. The time stops after the last front squat rep has been completed.
SCORING
The score is the total combined time of A + B.

MOVEMENT STANDARDS
Front Squat
The bar must start from the ground. No racks will be permitted.
The hip crease must clearly pass below the knees at the bottom of the squat and the rep is completed when the knees and hips reach full extension at the top.
Double Unders
The rope must spin passed the feet twice per jump.
Toes to Bar
The rep starts with the athlete on the pull-up bar, with the elbows fully extended, and the feet off the ground.
The heels must come behind the bar at the bottom of the rep.
Both toes or the top of the feet must hit the bar simultaneously for the rep to count.
Pull-Ups
The rep starts with the athlete on the pull-up bar, with the elbows fully extended, and the feet off the ground.
The chin must reach above the pull-up bar each rep.
The arms must return to a fully extended position at the bottom of each rep.
Kipping and butterfly variations are allowed.
