About This Competition

 

The Fire & Ice Challenge is back!! We are proud to host the 5th annual competition at WildFire .

Teams of two men and two women will compete in three workouts and a floater workout to take top spots in either the Scaled or Rx divisions.

Your registration includes a swag bag for each athlete with cool stuff from our sponsors. 

Event T-shirts & Tank tops are available for purchase under the merchandise section.

Registration is non-refundable.

Get your registrations in early as spots will fill up and prices will go up!

One athlete works at a time. 
Athlete must complete at least one rep at the required movement before tagging out. Team must stay in order.

Scaled

12 minute AMRAP

25 Knee Raises

20 Step up and over 24/20

15 Devil's Press 35/20

10 Weighted lunges 35/20

Teams complete a 4 x 400 relay.  Each teammate runs a 400m route as fast as possible, hands baton off to next teammate. Time is complete when all 4 teammates have completed the 400m run.

Each Athlete has 3 minutes to complete a 1 rep max in a squat movement.

Athlete 1 - Overhead Squat

Athlete 2 - Front Squat

Athlete 3 - Back Squat

Athlete 4 - Squat Clean

Movements will be done in this order from the rack except for the squat clean. 

After all athletes have had their 3 minutes to complete their lift at max weight, there will be an additional 3 minutes in which all athletes are able to perform a gymnastics movement to add weight to their total score of lifts.  Only one athlete can work at a time but you may switch as often as needed and in any order. Gymnastics movements for RX are:

Pull ups = 1lb

Chest to bar = 5lbs

Bar Muscle ups = 10lbs

 

Scaled are:

Jumping Pull ups = 1lb

Pull ups = 5lbs

Chest to Bar = 10lbs

     Scaled: 75#/45#

Male pairs will go first and complete all movements, switching off as needed between the two athletes. Once completed Men will tag the female athlete pair in to complete all movements. Time is up when both pairs have completed all movements. There is an 18min time cap.
