About This Competition
Sunday Service is teaming up with the Wilder Games to bring Loughborough students a brand-new functional fitness competition designed to test every aspect of your fitness.
Workouts 🏋️♂️
- Four workouts designed to test strength, speed, power and endurance.
- Exact movements and standards will be revealed one week before the event (see attached).
Teams 👥
- 4 athletes per team: 2 males + 2 females
- Divisions: Everyday (10 kg/15 kg DBs) or Intermediate (15 kg/20 kg DBs)

- Heats staggered for built-in rest refuel with treats from Goa coffee, matcha and more, plus tunes blasting!

Workouts
Part A) In male-female pairs, complete YGIG:
40 synchro burpees *one pair to work the other pair to rest
Part B) In the remaining time max erg cals
* max row | assault bike cals
SCORE= ROW CALORIES + ASSAULT BIKE CALORIES
In teams of 4, complete the following:
40 DB Deadlifts
10 synchro DB Snatches
30 DB Thrusters
10 synchro DB Snatches
20 DB Clean & Jerks
Women to use: 5kg DBs
Men to use: 10kg DBs
SCORE= ROUNDS + REPS
Within an 18-minute time cap, each athlete must establish:
5 RM Deadlift
3 RM Shoulder-to-Overhead (STOH)
SCORE= Total team weight lifted
Part A) In indian file, each athlete must complete two rounds of:
- 30 Air Squats
- 20 BF Sit ups
- 20/18 cal ski erg
Part B) Max Step Overs in remaining time (20”)
SCORE= PART B REPS
Indian File Format: Only one athlete moves at a time.
- Athlete 2 may begin their squats only after Athlete 1 has completed all 30.
- This continues until all 4 athletes have completed the full sequence twice.
PART B: MAX STEP OVERS (20” BOX)
- Begins after all 4 athletes complete 2 full rounds of Part A.
- Only one athlete working at a time.
