Saturday 4/18 is the Annual Clipper City In House Games at Clipper City , so, here’s a reminder that there are no CLASSES scheduled!

 

If you’re on a team, be there NO LATER THAN 9am for the Intro. The first WOD begins at 9:10am SHARP!

Please bring whatever water, supplements, and food you need throughout the day.

If you’re not participating, and want to come watch- please do ! We love having a cheering section, all day! Friends & family are welcome (kids included) - and friendly pups, too!! We have daycare (included) for the kiddos!!

The timing for the day can be found on this spreadsheet, on the “Timing” Tab.

Please come hang at R Bar, down the street, for food & drinks and hang time after- at the bar- beginning around 1pm (SUPER casual … friends and family welcome).

Remember - Saturday is about FUN & COMMUNITY … so, bring the Clipper Spirit with ya!

I’ll be on site at 7:45/8 am, so feel free to come early, if you want to warm up / hang out early.

Workouts

Complete as many rounds as possible in 15 mins of:
30 Row Calories
30 Wall Balls, pick load
30 Box Step Overs, 20 in
30 AbMat Sit-ups
Farmers Carry, 300 m
6 Shuttle Sprints, 50 ft
15 Burpees

 

Each team must designate one RX athlete, 1 Level 2 Athlete and 1 Level 1 Athlete for the workout.
-Split all reps and movements however the team would like.

RX Weights:
Wallballs - 14 for ALL RX athletes
Farmers Carry- #53 for ALL RX athletes

Level 2 Weights:
Wallballs- 10 for ALL Level 2 athletes
Farmers Carry- #35 for ALL Level 2 athletes

Level 1 Weights and Movements:
Wallballs- 6 for ALL Level 1 athletes
Farmers Carry- #25 for ALL Level 1 athletes
Burpees can be modified to bodybuilders (up/downs) if needed

Box step over are 20 inches for all athletes, all levels

 

WOD 2: Team Total
 
Time Cap: 19 minutes total


Goal: Find the team’s combined heaviest successful lift total. Men's weights will be multiplied by .67.
 
**Each athlete must choose a different lift
 
Workout
Each athlete has 5 minutes to find their 1 Rep Max in one of the following lifts. There will be one minute to strip weights in between each lift.
 
Athlete 1: Bench Press
 
Athlete 2: Front Squat
 
Athlete 3: Deadlift
 
Notes:
Athletes can choose their bar weight (#15 / #35 or #45 for anyone) and progress as they wish.
 
Bench Press: Minutes 0-5
Reset 5-7
Front Squat: Minutes 7-12
Reset 12-14
Deadlift: Minutes 14-19
 
NOTE:
Athletes can be warming up for other movements on the side, and on the squat racks, while other teams are going!
 
 
 
 

WOD 3 Part A:

For time:
120 Hang Power Cleans, pick load
90 Pull Ups
60 Thrusters, pick load
30 T2B

 

This workout will have 2 parts :

Part A: Split Reps as needed, complete for time with a 15 minute time cap. Score will be total reps by 15 minutes, or - if everyone completes it - fastest time completed. If one team completes it, and others do not, one second will be added to 15:00 for every rep not completed, for a final timing score.

Part B: At 16:00, all teams will head to an echo bike for Part B of the workout. Each team will have to complete 60 calories on the bike, split however they want / need. Score will be for time.

WEIGHTS FOR WOD 3 PART A:
- Each team will pick 1 RX athlete, 1 Level 2 athlete, 1 Level 1 athlete
- RX: 95/65
-Level 2: 75/55
-Level 1: 45/35

MOVEMENTS FOR WOD 3 PART A:
- Each team will pick 1 RX athlete, 1 Level 2 athlete, 1 Level 1 athlete
- RX: AS WRITTEN
-Level 2: Hang Power Cleans, Hanging Knee Raises, Thrusters, Jumping Pull Ups
-Level 1: Hang Power Cleans, Tuck Ups, Thrusters, Ring Rows

WOD 3 Part B:

Part B: At 16:00, all teams will head to an echo bike for Part B of the workout. Each team will have to complete 60 calories on the bike, split however they want / need. Score will be for time.
