About This Competition

The Aussie Throwdown is all about the community. 

It's for absolutely everyone!!

It's all about YOU, we create the big stage for you

& make you feel like a superstar.

Categories include:
RX - Male/Female
Intermediate - Male/Female
Masters - Male/Female
Scaled - Male/Female

Cost:
$39.95

Workouts:
1 release every 2 weeks for 4 weeks.
Tests may have 2 parts.
Over the 4 weeks there will be up to 6 scoring opportunities total

Online Test release dates 2021: 

Test 1, 2 & 3 

RELEASE: April 15th - 11am 

SUBMIT: April 28th - 10am

Test 4, 5 & 6

RELEASE: April 29th - 11am 

SUBMIT: May 12th - 10am

Online registration closes:
April 28th @ 10:00AM

THE 2021 FINAL:
2 Day event!

Date: Oct 9th & 10th 2021
Location: PerFit Training Center in VICTORIA

The Super Online Qualifier
The *Super* Online Qualifier consists of multiple scored tests; 1 release every 2 weeks for 4 weeks.
These tests are based on the 6 tests of the International Functional Fitness Federation

Mixed Modal

The top 14 in each division (RX, Intermediate, Masters & Scaled ) will be invited to compete in the finals in October

AFFF Sanctioned:
Top 2 RX male and female finishers from the 2021 Final will receive an invitation to the 2022 AFFF National Final.

This qualifier includes the same tests as the AFFF and MastersHQ Online qualifier!  
Athletes can submit their score into any of these 3  qualifiers but must have registered into each event separately.

What you need to do to enter more than one qualifier: Register for the event of your choice. (You can do all 3)
Choose your correct division
Complete the workout
Submit your score to all platforms

TEST 1 - Endurance


No time cap!

Bar facing burpees

10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10

with

 Shuttle run
5 x 15m up and back after each set

1 shuttle run = 15m up, 15m back
30m x 5 = 150m total each time

*Do not repeat the 1 bar facing burpee
*Do not complete shuttles after the last set of 10 bar facing burpees

Athletes must start with bar facing burpees and end with bar facing burpees.

TEST 2 - Body Weight Endurance
