About This Competition

CrossFit Gorilla Den and Ocelot Strength and Conditioning are excited to bring you #BattleoftheBoxes! This partner competition will have a division for everyone! (Novice/Scaled, Intermediate and RX: M/M, F/F and Co-Ed divisions).

Registration fee will be $90 per team ($45 per person) and will include an event T-shirt (please choose your size(s). Fees are non-refundable but you will be allowed to find a substitute partner should you have to, up until the day before comp. (1/24) 

We have a large parking lot, we will have vendors inside, food and drinks (you can bring whatever you want to snack on, eat or drink throughout the day). We will have some seating inside and standing room. Depending on weather conditions, it will be up to you if you want to setup a spot outside, bringing chairs and ice chests, whatever you need!

6 min. total for both athlete to find 1RM Snatch.

 

*Athletes will have a combined time of 6 minutes to each find their 1 rep max snatch (this can be power or squat snatch). When the time cap is reached, athletes will then move to the box for a 2 minute AMRAP of max box jump overs (step overs for scaled). Athletes DO NOT have to alternate for this portion of the workout, one athlete can do all the work if they choose. 

2 minute AMRAP of box jump overs (scaled will be box step overs). One team member can do all of the box jumps/step overs or partners can switch.
