About This Competition

Join CrossFit Uncompromised for DO IT FOR THE DONUTS - PART 2, a partner competition, on June 3rd, 2023!

Doors will open at 7:15am.  Athlete briefing will be at 8:00 and start time is 8:30 am.

We will have 2 divisions Rx and scaled.  Teams will be made up of 2 males or 2 females.

Cost: $159/team

Competition will include:  3 workouts + 1 floater workout. There will be a final WOD for the top teams. 

Things to know: There will be a designated athlete area for warming up. Please bring chairs, tent (if you want to camp outside). Workouts will be posted prior to the competition day.


STANDARDS

Rx:

Rx athletes should be able to do 95% of CF open workouts. 

At least one team member should be able to do the following: 

Bar/Ring Muscle Ups, Handstand walks and strict HSPU's 

Both members should be able to do the following:  

Gymnastics:  chest to bar pullups, kipping HSPU, toes to bar, rope climbs, pistols and double unders. 

Barbell: Snatch, thrusters 135/95, clean and jerk 155/105.

Dumbbells: DB snatch/clean and jerk, thrusters 50/35.


Scaled:

At least one Scaled team member should be able to do the following: 

Jumping Pull-ups, Box jumps, Wall Walks. 

Both members should be able to do the following:  

Gymnastics: Knees to elbow,  single unders, hand release pushups and step ups 20” 

Barbell:  cleans (Any Style Power or Squat- 95/65). Shoulder to overhead 75/55, deadlift 155/105, thrusters 75/55, snatch 75/55, wall balls 14/10, and DB movements 35/25.

Workouts

With a 13 minute cap:

  • Partner 1 has the first 4 minutes to establish a 1 rep max snatch. 

  • At the 4 minute mark, Partner 1 completes an outdoor sprint to Partner 2. 

  • Partner 2 then completes a sprint back to the start and has the remaining time to establish a 1 rep max clean+shoulder to overhead. 

There are two separate scores for this event.

1.A-Total weight lifted (combination of Partner 1 Snatch and Partner 2 Clean+Shoulder to overhead).

1.B-Total run time between both partners.

 

-Exact run length will remain unknown until the day of, however, both partners can expect to run roughly the same distance and will be a length that can be completed in a sprint (500m or less).

Rules:

*In each round partners have 3 minutes to accumulate as many reps as possible with only 1 partner working at a time

*1 min break between rounds

*All teams get to do the first two rounds

*After round 2 eliminate 1/3 of the teams with the lowest total reps

*After round 3 eliminate another 1/3 so only 1/3 of the original teams will compete in Round 4

Scoring: 

Team who completes the most total reps wins

4. DBall lift: 70/50# maximum lifts to the shoulder in 1 min

Handstand walks must be at 25ft unbroken. Overhead squats will be taken from the rack.
