About This Competition

Invictus Boston's Winter Throwdown is a virtual-only competition features mixed-gender pairs and two divisions, RX and Scaled. There will be three workouts that are programmed in classes on Fridays, as well as a floater workout to be completed at any time during the competition. Aside from the floater workout, the class workouts do not need to be performed together, so pair up with a buddy that trains at a different time or location! Keep an eye out in SugarWOD and social media for more details.

New this year will be an in-person final competition for the top 6 teams in each division on Jan 27, 2024.

Division Standards:

RX - Should be comfortable with:
50/35lb DB
185/125lb Deadlifts for reps
135/95lb C&J for Reps
95/65lb Snatch for Reps
Toes to Bar
Pull-ups 

Scaled - Should be comfortable with:
35/20lb DB
155/105lb Deadlift for reps
95/65lb C&J for Reps
75/55lb Snatch for Reps
Toes to 90
Jumping Pull-ups

Power clean to thruster is permitted in both divisions. 

Each partner must complete a different version.

Scaled: 75/55#, jumping pull-ups permitted

*30/23 Cals if you use an Assault Bike instead of an Echo

P2: 2 DB Facing Burpees

Switch stations when work is completed.

+2 Cal & Burpee every time you switch stations

Use a 50lb Dumbbell
