Summer Games is an annual functional fitness competition with same gender teams of 2 people. We have beginner, intermediate and advanced divisions. Past years, including this one we have had Grid league players compete in the event.

Workouts
WOD 1 – Cerus, check engine light (17 Min AMRAP)
One partner is on rower , other partner is working on reps. Switch wherever you want. Score is total reps plus calories
• Max Cal Row
• 20 Single DB goblet squat (50/35 adv/int) (35/20 beginner)
• 20 (10/10) Single DB hang power cleans (50/35 adv/int) (35/20 beginner). Finish 10 on one arm before switching to other arm
• 10 Box Jump Overs (30”/24) (24/20”) (20/16”)
WOD 2 – Lequity Cluster F*ck
• 1 Cluster (Squat Clean Thruster)
• athletes choose weight
• allow jerksters
• Time Cap: 5 minutes
WOD 3 – Revive Couplet
Starts one minute after Lequity Cluster
6 Rounds for Time (8-Min Time Cap):
• 10 S2OH (p press or p jerk allowed) (adv: 165/115) (intermediate: 115/75) (beginner: 75/55)
• 20 Toes to Bar (Rx and 12 int), 12 sit-ups for beginners
** barbell must be in front rack hold by one partner while other partner works on toes to bar/sit-ups. Front rack with arms crossed allowed
WOD 4 – PWRD by coffee Chipper (12 min cap)
- 250 double unders (adv & int) / 400 single jump rope for beginners
- 60 handstand pushups adv / 30 handstand pushups (intermediate) / 50 hand release pushups (beginners)
- 40 deadlifts (adv 275/185) (int 185/125) (beginner 115/75)
- 30 synchro bar facing burpees
- 20 bar muscle ups (adv) / 20 pull-ups (int) / renegade rows (30s/20s beginner)
Zivel recovery Floater – 4 minutes max reps
- D-ball G2S
- ski calories, teammates switch as needed (adv 120/80) (int 80/70) (beginner 70/40)
