About This Competition

  • Sun's Out Guns Out Throwdown is a partner competition with RX and scaled M/F teams.  The event will take place July 9th at CrossFit Maximus beginning at 8 AM.

Registration Opens May 9th

$150.00 per team/Comp t-shirt for every participant.

Workout release dates beginning June 1st

Movement standards for RX:

Toes to Ring, Pull-Ups, Box Jump 24"M/20"F, M 50lb Dumbbells, F 35lb Dumbbells 

Movement Standards for Scale:

Box Step-ups, 35lb Dumbbells for Men/20lb Dumbbells for Females

Standards


Pull-Ups:  chin over bar, arms locked put at bottom.


Front Squat:  One head of DB on each side must be in front of the face, full grip on DBs.  Hip crease, below parallel and full extension at top.


Bench Press:  1 Head of DB must hit shoulder at bottom, full lockout at top,

Standards

Each partner must row 20 calories each time.  Both partners must stay at rower until all calories are complete.

Synchro Shoulder to Overhead must be locked out a top at the same time.

Synchro Burpees must have chest on floor at the same time, to complete burpee both partners must use a two foot take off and jump over line.

One person working at a time on the toes to bar.
