About This Competition

“Reindeer Games” will be a FREE one week CrossFit male and female event from Monday, December, 4th - Friday, December, 8th at CrossFit AMRAP in Cary, IL. The competition will feature age categories similar to that of the CrossFit Open, including divisions for ages 18 & Under, 20-34, 35-39,40-44,45-49,50-54, and 55+. Like previous years, this competition is designed specifically for our CrossFit AMRAP athletes. As always, be prepared for the unknown as we shall test all areas of your fitness across a series of constantly varied, high intensity, and functional movement workouts.

 

*Age Group Guidelines: Each age group pertains to your particular age on the starting day of the competition. For example, if you are 39 years old and will turn 40 on December 4th, you will compete in the 40-44 age division.

The barbells will be prestaged in the correct order for the day. During the transition, athletes will move forward to the next barbell and wait for the coach to count down the start of the next 30 seconds. Athletes may not start the next attempt until it is the designated 30 seconds of work timeframe.


NOTES:

*Cleans may be power or squat. Jerks may be Push or Split.

*The barbell must be off the ground prior to the timer going off. If it is off the ground the athlete may attempt to complete the rep.

*You may have as many attempts as needed within the 30 seconds.

*If you fail to complete a lift within the 30 seconds you are finished with this WOD, get ready for Vixen.
