Workouts
1-Mile Run
The 1-Mile Run is a test of endurance, pacing, and mental toughness. Competitors will complete one mile on the designated course as quickly as possible.
Participants must remain on the marked route and follow all directions from event officials. The use of pacing assistance from spectators or other competitors is prohibited unless specifically authorized by event staff.
The competitor with the fastest finishing time wins the event. In the event of a tie, official timing records will be reviewed to determine placement.
Scoring: Fastest time = 1st Place. Lowest cumulative points across all five events determine the overall Auntie Invitational champion. Push the pace, finish strong, and leave it all on the course. 💪🏃♀️🏆
225 lb Deadlift for Reps
The 225 lb Deadlift for Reps event tests total-body strength, muscular endurance, and grit. Competitors will perform as many repetitions as possible with 225 pounds while maintaining proper deadlift standards.
Each repetition must begin with the bar on the ground. Competitors must lift the bar to a fully upright position with the knees and hips locked out and shoulders back before returning the bar to the ground under control. Touch-and-go repetitions are permitted, but the bar must clearly make contact with the ground between reps. Hitching, excessive bouncing, or failure to reach full lockout will result in a no-rep.
The competitor who completes the most successful repetitions wins the event.
Scoring: Most repetitions = 1st Place. Lowest cumulative points across all five events determine the overall Auntie Invitational champion. 🏆💪🏽🔥
Pull-Ups for Reps
The Pull-Ups for Reps event tests upper-body strength, muscular endurance, and body control. Competitors will perform as many strict pull-ups as possible without assistance.
Each repetition must begin from a dead hang with the elbows fully extended. The competitor must then pull upward until the chin clearly breaks the horizontal plane of the bar before returning to the dead-hang position. Kipping, excessive swinging, or failure to achieve full extension or chin-over-bar standards will result in a no-rep.
Competitors may release the bar and re-grip during their attempt, but the clock will continue to run. The event ends when the competitor can no longer complete a repetition that meets the required standards.
The competitor who completes the most successful repetitions wins the event.
Scoring: Most repetitions = 1st Place. Lowest cumulative points across all five events determine the overall Auntie Invitational champion. 🏆💪🏽🔥
The Sprint-Drag-Carry is a timed event that tests speed, power, agility, and endurance. Competitors will complete the course as quickly as possible while moving through five consecutive phases:
Sprint down and back.
Drag a weighted sled down and back.
Perform a lateral shuffle down and back.
Carry weights (farmer's carry) down and back.
Finish with a final sprint down and back.
The competitor with the fastest overall time wins the event. Participants must remain within their designated lane and complete all portions of the course as directed by event officials. Failure to follow event standards may result in penalties or disqualification.
Scoring: Fastest time = 1st Place. Lowest cumulative points across all events determine the overall Auntie Invitational champion.
