About This Competition

Join CrossFit Bison for the 2nd annual BISON CLASSIC on JUNE 2. This is an individual competition for Rx and Masters athletes!

A fitness event designed to be an efficient test of an athlete's movement quality, endurance, skill, and grit.

Winners of each event and overall winners paid cash!

WOD 1 - "UNBROKEN"
AMRAP 9:00 (ascending ladder)
20 double unders
10 wall balls
10 alt db snatches
40 double unders
20 wall balls
20 alt db snatches
60/30/30, etc...

Rx & Masters Men: 50# dumbbell, 20# wall ball

Rx & Masters Women: 35# dumbbell, 14# wall ball

WOD 2 - "FAST AND FURIOUS"
Every 1:00 (until failure or completion)
5 burpee box jump overs (24/20)
2 squat cleans

In typical ladder fashion, there will be 9 barbells and 9 boxes set up and down the gym. Think you can get to, and complete, all of them?

Men RX: 165 / 185 / 205 / 225 / 245 / 265 / 285 / 305 / 315

Women RX: 105 / 125 / 135 / 150 / 165 / 175 / 185 / 195 / 205

Masters Men: 145 / 165 / 185 / 205 / 215 / 225 / 245 / 265 / 275

Masters Women: 85 / 105 / 115 / 125 / 135 / 150 / 165 / 175 / 185

WOD 3 - "SOUL CRUSHER"

200' sandbag carry

The row is too short to pace, too long to sprint. And don’t overlook how much these sandbags will crush your lungs.

WOD 4 - "CHEST DAY"
AMRAP 1:00
bench press (165/95)
then
AMRAP 1:30
5 C2Bs
5 T2Bs

Athletes will get ONE attempt at a max unbroken set at 165/95 with a 1:00 cap.

Bench press reps are worth 2x

WOD 5 - "GRAVITY"
3:00 to complete...
20 kettlebell deadlifts
20 kettlebell reverse lunges
20 HSPUs
max rep rope climbs

Athletes will perform the deadlifts and reverse lunges with TWO 53/35 Kettlebells.
