About This Competition

Mixed sex pairs competition for scaled athletes!

Venue - CrossFit Cheltenham

- 3 WODs for all teams. The team with the least points over 3 WODs wins


- NO QUALIFIERS


- Enjoy a great competition at a friendly box run by an events team with nine years experience of running successful team events

-MOVEMENT STANDARDS

Scaled Category - This category is suitable for athletes of any ability as the weights are lighter and the movements are easier. We often give further-scale alternatives to some of the movements that may still be too difficult

PRICE- £89 per team

The WODs will be released before the Throwdown.
Prizes for all podium finishers.
This event is child and dog friendly, so bring your friends and family along!
Spectators can come and cheer you on for free!
There will be plenty of space to park in the industrial estate where the box is located.

WOD 1 

Part A - Complete as many reps as possible in 12 minutes of:


25 Sync box step overs with 1 dumbbell 24/20”

25 Dumbbell hang to overhead

25 Pull ups / Assisted Pull ups


25 Sync box step overs with 1 dumbbell 24/20”

25 Dumbbell hang to overhead

25 Jumping bar muscle ups


25 Sync box step overs with 1 dumbbell 24/20”

25 Dumbbell hang to overhead

25 Chest to bar pull ups / Assisted Chest to bar pull ups

 

Part B - Total weight of the two dumbbells

Available dumbbell weights: 2/5/10/12.5/15/17.5/22.5/30kg

Teams will select the weight of their two dumbbells. Available dumbbell weights are 2/5/10/12.5/15/17.5/22.5/30kg and there will be only one of each weight per team, so teams will have two dumbbells of different weights. The combined weight of the dumbbells will be added together and will be scored completely separately to the reps completed. There is no minimum work requirement.

30 Toes to chest height

100 Single unders

15 Sync burpees
