About This Competition

Chris has made the 2024 Crossfit Games Masters Final in Alabama USA, being held from 29th August - 1st September. This is a massive achievement.

Thus we are holding a competition for Chris to assist in covering costs for the trip but also a way to celebrate through fitness.

Same Sex pairs will complete 4 workouts through the day with prizes for the winners.
Movement Standards for RX will include:
Hang Cleans 55kg/35kg
Cleans
Wall Balls 9kg/6kg
Wall Climbs 270mm standard
C2B
T2B
BMU (One athlete at least)
Dumbbell Movements
Machines

OPEN Division:
Hang Cleans 40kg/25kg
Cleans
Wall Balls
Wall Climbs 1 metre standard
Knee Raises
Sumo Deadlift High Pulls
Pull Ups (At least one athlete)
Dumbbell Movements
Machines

Workouts

50/40 CAL Ski

50/40 CAL C2 Bike 

 

Athlete 1 starts on the ski, as soon as the allocated calories are completed, athlete 1 moves onto the C2 Bike to complete the next amount of calories. Athlete 2 can start on the Ski as soon as Athlete 1 is clear. The monitior must be reset to zero. The workout is complete as soon as Athlete 2 completes the bike Calories after the Ski. 

Tie break is the total time taken for Athlete 1 to complete both machines. 

 

Workout must be completed prior to event 3 on the day.

RX/Open Division: 6mins to establish a heavy complex of

No resetting on floor between reps, power or squat is permitted.

Heaviest lift from each partner is combined for score. One bar per team only, if the lift is started prior to the 6 minute cap it can be completed after the buzzer. 

RX/OPEN Division: 

4 Rounds for time

15 Synchro Burpees over line

30 Wall Balls

RX/OPEN: 9/6kg   6/4kg  M:10" line F: 9" line

 

RX can step in step out of burpee, but must jump over line

OPEN can step in and step, can step over line
