About This Competition

Join us for the inaugural 'Regional VIC Games' hosted by Ballarat Goldfields CrossFit and Functional Fitness Ballarat

This is a 1 day same sex partner competition that will test you through a wide range of modalities including endurance, strength, gymnastics, skill, power and bodyweight movements. You could expect to see some strongman movements over the day also.

Early bird price $145 PT  (until 8pm 5th Nov 23)
Regular price $155 PT

This event is for all fitness enthusiasts of all levels with movement options to suit!

Divisions include:

RX
For those who really want to push themselves against some other great athletes

Enter this division if:
You don't scale workouts at your gym 
You have been training for 2+ years and have a fairly structures training program
You train 4-5+ times per week
You lift heavy
You have competed multiple times before 

Intermediate
This division is for those who train regularly or have a seasoned sporting background.

Workouts will be similar to the RX division just with lower weight requirements and less high skill movements. 

Enter this division if:
You only sometimes scale workouts at your gym
You have been training for some time 
you lift medium to heavy weights including olympic lifting
You train 3-4+ times a week
You have competed at fitness comps before
There will not be any hand stands, muscle ups or high skilled gymnastics.  Some members of the team may need to perform low level reps of toes to bar

Masters 35+ *as is based on athlete age on Jan 20th 2024
A mix between RX and Intermediate. *Scaling options available here

Fitness
We welcome you, the everyday fitness enthusiast. 

If you are new to fitness comps, maybe competed a few times or train at a functional fitness gym 3+ times a week then this division is for you! 

Enter this division if:
If you are a first timer to a fitness competition, or have only competed for 'fun' a few times
If you train 3+ times a week at your local Functional fitness gym
Or if you enjoy teamwork and a rewarding challenge.

No heavy Barbell, (maybe some deadlifts ;D) no high level skill, just pure fitness, fun and grit. 

Grab a partner and get ready for a challenging and fun day of fitness!

Axel bar deadlift ladder

3 reps touch and go each

50 seconds on/ 10 secs rotate

Tiebreak (performed in the minute after both partners have failed their lifts, tap in and out, no minimum work)
Intermediate - Double unders or 3 to 1 Single unders sub (not a scaling)
Fitness - Single unders

Max weight for final lifts (for both)
