About This Competition
CrossFit Route 7 Sadie Hawkins Dance!
Join us on Saturday, April 22nd for a Male/Female Partner Competition with both Varsity (RX) and Junior Varsity (Scaled) Divisions! There will be 15 teams per division.
FAQS
When will the workouts be released?
WODs will be released by the end of January on the CrossFit Route 7 Instagram.
What is the event schedule?
The event will begin at 8am, but a detailed schedule and specific event heat times will be released following the close of registration.
Can I bring my dog/cat to the event?
Pets are not allowed inside the gym.
Where should I park?
The parking map will be emailed to competitors prior to the competition date. Outdoor gym parking will be reserved for coaches and the athlete village.
What is the refund policy?
We are not giving refunds, but partner substitutes may be made prior to the close of registration on Saturday, April 18th.
What can I expect?
A Sadie Hawkins Dance T-shirt, a team goodie bag, prizes for podium teams, sponsors, and vendors (physical therapy, apparel, supplements, and massage therapy). Each team is guaranteed to compete in 5 events. There is no final event for top 5 finishers.

20 Double Dumbbell Box Step Overs (24/20") (V: 50/35) (JV: 35/20)
10 Synchro Power Snatch (V: 135/95) (JV: 95/65)
10 Synchro Bar Facing Burpees
10 Bar Muscle-Ups (JV: 20 Pull-Ups)
Score: Total Rounds and Reps
- The tie break time will be the time to complete the last full round.
- Athletes can split the Double Dumbbell Box Step Overs and Bar Muscle-Ups/Pull-Ups in any way.
- RX teams have a 1-rep minimum work requirement for the Step Overs and BMU.
- High bars will be prioritized for teams with taller athletes. Athletes may use the black foam boxes or plastic boxes as risers for high bars.

4 Rounds for Time:
10 Synchro Toes to Bar (JV: 12 Non-Synchro)
4 Rope Climbs (JV: 3)
10 Synchro Thrusters - ascending weight

- Score: Time to Complete
- Athletes can split the Rope Climbs in any way. RX teams have a 1-rep minimum work requirement for the Rope Climbs.
- Synchro Toes to Bar must be synchronized with athletes' feet touching the pull-up bar at the same time. Synchro Thrusters must be synchronized with the barbell overhead.
- Teams must roll their barbells away from the bar after each round. There will be weights at each interval for the athletes to load their barbells between rounds. Athletes can help load their partner's barbell.
Event 2: “My Heart Will Go On”
(Following a 1:00 Transition after Event 1)
In 3:00: Accumulate Max Calorie Row
Score: Total Calories
Following a 1:00 transition from Event 1, athletes will begin Event 2.
1 athlete will be rowing at a time. Athletes can split the 3:00 in any way.
Event 1: “Sweet Dreams (of a PR)”
In 5:00: Establish 1RM Clean (F)
In 5:00: Establish 1RM Clean (M)
Score: Heaviest total lifted
- Athletes will start with an empty barbell and can help their partners load/unload their bars.
