Core Six will be the ultimate test of outdoor fitness, mind-set and teamwork. It will challenge the most elite teams whilst also being accessible for all, with inclusive event, no qualifiers and lots of fun activities aside.

Workouts

Three team members of your choice must complete the cross county

multi terrain trail run! Trail run is approx 4k.

Final score is the total finishing position of all three team

members.

Three team members of your choice will complete a weighted vest relay run. Each leg of the relay is approx 1k. 

This workout will start and finish in the endzone closest to the

supporters and vendors.


On go:

3 people will perform a shuttle sprint to the end zone and back,

Both feet must cross the line for the endzone and 1 hand must

touch the floor for each person. This does not have to be

synchro, when returning the remaining three will perform a

shuttle sprint.


When the 2nd group is back:

The 1st group will pick up 3 sandbags of any weight and carry

them to the end zone before sprinting back, the second group

will do the same.

When the 2nd group is back

The 1st group will perform a shuttle sprint but going up and

over the beam on the way out and the way back. 2 people can have

help but the other must go over on their own. The second group

will do the same.

When both groups are back

The team will perform 25 Squats with the worm. When complete

they will walk under the beam with the worm, and perform another

25 squats before dropping the worm and running to the endzone.

The workout will then be repeated going back in the opposite

direction.

The workout is complete when the full team is back in the

starting endzone.

On go:

The full team will sprint to the worm and perform:

1 Length Lunge walk

10 Worm ground to overhead

20 sync burpees over the worm

30 Worm Thrusters

1 Length lunge walk


10 Min Time Cap

Each lane will have 5 minutes to move as many items as possible

from endzone to endzone!


Each lane will have the following items:

6 person worm - 6 points each

2 x 2 person worm - 2 points each.

6 x sandbags - 1 point each.

4 x Weighted Vests - 1 point each

9 x 1 Minute AMRAP - 3 x M/F pairs.

Each lane has 4 sandbags - 30,40,50,60


On Go:

Pair 1 will run to the first set of sandbags going over the beam

on the way. The pair will perform 2 synchro sandbag to shoulder

- F - 30kg, M - 50kg.

When complete they will move to the second set of sandbags and

perfrom 2 synchro sandbag to shoulder - F - 40kg, M - 60kg.

For the remaining time the pair will AMRAP synchro reps of

ground to overhead with the 2 person worm.
