About This Competition

Torrance Training Lab presents our 3rd Annual Individual Master's Competition, "The Geezer Games"!

If you're 35 years and older, come join us for a 1 day competition. There will be 4 workouts to test your Strength, Aerobic Capacity, and overall Fitness. 

Age Divisions will be split into 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, and 65+

Thrusters

Burpee Over the Bar

*10 Minute Time Cap

 

Age Group Weights:

35-39 - (115/75)

40-44 - (95/65)

45-49 - (95/65)

50-54 - (75/55) *Step Overs for Burpees Allowed

55-59 - (65/45) *Step Overs for Burpees Allowed

60-64 - (55/35) *Step Overs for Burpees Allowed

65+ - (55/35) *Step Overs for Burpees Allowed

 

**Tiebreak time is when set of 12 is completed 

In 3 Minutes build to max weight 2 Hang Cleans (Can be power or squat)

You cannot let the bar drop during your lift and you must complete your 2nd hang clean by the 3:00 mark

 

Barbell Can be loaded before the 3 minutes starts, athlete must add weights themselves and clips must be put on for lift to count 

After your max 2 hang cleans in Part A, there is a 1 Minute rest then Part B will start and you have 1 Minute to perform as many reps as possible of Single Dumbbell Goblet Squats with the following weights:

35-39 - (50/35)

40-44 - (50/35)

45-49 - (40/25)

50-54 - (40/25)

55-59 - (30/20)

60-64 - (25/15)

65+ (25/15)

 

*Tiebreak score is weight lifted in Part A

4/3 Wall Walks *(worth 4x's reps) (10 Inches from the Wall

*1/2 Wall Walks to 25 inches from wall (worth 2x's reps)

*8 Inchworms
