6th Annual Raindeer gainz throwdown
About This Competition
This competition is a 3 person same sex teams (MMM/FFF). Two divisions will be offered; Novice and Intermediate (RX athletes are welcome) however, there will be NO: HAND STAND WALKS; STRICT HANDSTAND PUSH-UPS; MUSCLE UPS. All other movements could be used. Barbell weight will be manageable in metcons however there may be a 1 rep max lift or complex to test your overall strength. * Prizes for 1st 2nd and 3rd in each division.
NOVICE division will not have; handstand push-ups; pull-ups; toes to bar; squat snatches; overhead squats; rope climbs, double-unders. Weights will be similar to what you see in the OPEN scaled division.
FINALS: Top 5 teams in each division will advance to the finals. Tiebreaks go to teams with the highest finish(s) in all completed workouts. This applies to qualify for finals AND overall finishes.
* Competition shirts for those who register before THE 1ST of December due to shipping delays experienced worldwide.
* NO REFUNDS FOR THIS COMPETITION but you may change athletes or teams until the first WOD starts / divisional changes must be completed 1 week prior to the event!
* Friends and Family can watch for FREE and bring food and drink if you want!

FOR TIME:
50 DOUBLE UNDERS - 30 HSPU
50 DOUBLE UNDERS - 25 HSPU
50 DOUBLE UNDERS - 20 HSPU

** Novice will complete 75 singles per round and box push ups men on a 20 inch box / woman on a 24 inch box
** Each athlete must complete 2 rounds of this.
** Once an athlete starts a round they must finish it.
FOR TIME (13:00 CAP) ADD ONE SECOND FOR EVERY REP NOT COMPLETED.
ALL WORK COMPLETED WITH TWO ATHLETES WORKING TOGETHER. ATHLETES MAY SWITCH AT ANY TIME AND AS MANY TIMES AS NEEDED.
START WITH 27 DEADLIFTS ON SAME BAR AT 405/305 (NOVICE 335/235)
THEN 7 ROUNDS OF 7 BARFEES AND 7 SINGLE DUMBELL HANG C&J AT 50/35 (NOVICE 35/25)
THEN FINISH WITH ANOTHER 27 DEADLIFTS
7:00 MINUTES FOR COMBINED WEIGHT OF THE THREE ATHLETES. SCORE IS THE COMBINED WEIGHT ON THE BAR OF EACH SUCCESSFUL COMPLEX FOR EACH ATHLETE.
AT GO ATHLETE 1 WILL COMPLETE A COMPLEX OF 5 OVERHEAD SQUATS (NOVICE COMPLETE FRONT SQUATS). AT COMPLETION OF THEIR ATTEMPTS THEN ATHLETE TWO WILL COMPLETE THEIR HEAVIEST SET OF 3 REPS. AT COMPLETION, THE LAST ATHLETE WILL HIT THEIR HEAVIEST SINGLE.
ONE ATHLETE PER COMPLEX. THE LIFTS MUST BE IN THAT ORDER. THE 5 REPS MUST FINISH THEN THE 3 REPS THEN THE SINGLE.
ATHLETES MAY TAKE AS MANY ATTEMPTS AT THEIR REP SCHEME AS NEEDED BUT THE 5 MUST FINISH BEFORE THE 3 STARTS.
BARBELL TAKEN FROM THE RACK. ATHLETES MAY ASSIST IN LOADING AND RE-RACKING ANY FAILED ATTEMPTS.
SAFETY. CLIPS MUST BE ON THE BAR. YOU MAY NOT CATCH A FAILED ATTEMPT ON THE BACK OR FRONT RACK TO RETRY! IT MUST BE RERACKED BEFORE STARTING THAT COMPLEX OVER.
SCORE = THE COMBINE WIGHT OF THE 3 BARBELLS. NOT THE 5 REPS TIMES THE WEIGHT OF THE BAR BUT JUST HOW MUCH THE BAR WEIGHED FOR THE HEAVIEST SUCCESSFUL COMPLEX.
NOTE: THE LAST ATTEMPT MAY FINISH IF THE BAR IS UNRACKED PRIOR TO THE 7:00 ENDING. FINISH IT OFF BUT REMEMBER, ONCE LOCKED OUT OVERHEAD YOU MAY NOT CATCH A FAIL! DROP IT AND BE SAFE!!
