Welcome to the ultimate fitness experience – ELFIT Fitness Events Summer Festival powered by LA7 Sports Apex!

Our Summer Festival will be part of the LA7 Sports Apex first edition and will feature three of our best events:

ELFIT THROWDOWN - ELFIT STRONGMAN - ELFIT JUNIORS

ABOUT LA7 APEX

LA7 Sports Apex is a fitness festival and exhibition that is centered around movement & participation, and is not only about physical activity, but also a space that is focused on overall wellness and fitness.

ELFIT THROWDOWN DETAILS:

ABOUT: ELFIT Throwdown a Functional Fitness Competition tailored to support the local communities across the region. the first edition was held in Bahrain in 2019 featuring 280 athletes from 40+ countries, the 2nd edition will feature different divsions and a new competition format.

We understand it’s sometimes tough to secure a spot at any ELFIT events, but with ELFIT throwdown, you’ll get a chance to feel what its all about!

DIVISIONS:

  • Solo-Intermediate Men/Women
  • Solo - Rookies - Men/Women
  • Pair-Scaled Mixed / Pair-Rookies Mixed
  • Trio-Scaled Mixed (2M/1F)

TIMELINE: Log in & Briefing will be on Friday 31st May, Solo & Pairs Competition will be on Friday. Trio competition and Rookies Solo will be on Saturday. all details will shared the week of the event.

REGISTRATION: Registration Opens on 7 May and close on 25 May, each division will have a maximum capacity of 20 spots. Registration is on a first come first serve base.

COMPETITION DETAILS & FORMAT:

5 WORKOUT - 1 HOUR....TONS OF FUN

Inspired by Wodapaloza Gauntlet event, we are excited to introduce our ELFIT Throwdown "Monster Mash Edition" . With a unique format, Athletes/Teams will have to do 5 workouts packed in 60 minutes. Whether you are a beginner, scaled or intermediate, this event is for you!

  • SCORING:
    In each division athletes will be ranked based on their performance against other athletes’ scores in each test.
  • Points will be awarded based on placement in a test —1 point for first place, 2 points for second place, and so on, Lower points wins.
  • The winner will be the athlete that has accumulated the fewest points after all tests have been completed.
  • The tie breaker will be announced during the briefing


THROWDOWN PRIZES: The Top 3 winners in each division will get medals in addition to the following monetary prizes:

  • Solo-Intermediate Men: 6,000 EGP - 4,000 EGP - 2,000 EGP
  • Solo-Intermediate Women: 6,000 EGP - 4,000 EGP - 2,000 EGP
  • Solo-Rookies Men: 2000 EGP - 1500 EGP - 1000 EGP
  • Solo-Rookies Women: 2000 EGP - 1500 EGP - 1000 EGP
  • Pair-Scaled Mixed: 6,000 EGP - 4,000 EGP - 2,000 EGP
  • Trio-Scaled Mixed: 9,000 EGP - 6,000 EGP - 3,000 EGP

ELFIT JUNIORS DETAILS

ABOUT: ELFIT Juniors is back in its 5th edition with a special competition format. ELFIT Juniors is the region's first of its kind fitness competiton exclusive to youth athletes from the age of 8 to 17. 

DIVISIONS: Boys U10 - Girls U10 - Boys U12 - Girls U12 - Boys U14 - Girls U14

TIMELINE: Log in & Briefing will be on Friday at 10:30am. Competition starts Friday in the afternoon. all details will shared the week of the event 

REGISTRATION: Registration Opens on 7 May and close on 28 May. Registration is on a first come first serve base.

COMPETITION DETAILS & FORMAT:

4 WORKOUT - 45 MIN....TONS OF FUN

This edition will feature a new unique format, Athletes will have to do 4 workouts back to back packed in 45 minutes. 

SCORING:

  • In each division athletes will be ranked based on their performance against other athletes’ scores in each test.
  • Points will be awarded based on placement in a test —1 point for first place, 2 points for second place, and so on, Lower points wins.
  • The winner will be the athlete that has accumulated the fewest points after all tests have been completed.
  • In Case of a tie in the total number of points, the tie breaker will be the last/final test


JUNIORS AWARDS: The Top 3 winners in each division will get medals and a certificate.

ELFIT STRONGMAN DETAILS

ABOUT: ELFIT Strongman the 6th edition of the biggest Strongman competition is Egypt is back. This is going to be a special edition with the Strongest Athletes in the country competing on the tittle.

DIVISIONS: Men Open - Men U-110kg - Men U-95kg - Men U80 - Women Open

TIMELINE: Log in, Briefing & Weight Scale will be on Thursday 30 May at 6pm,  Competition starts Friday in the afternoon. all details will shared the week of the event 

REGISTRATION: Registration Opens on 7 May and close on 25 May, each division will have a maximum capacity of 12 athletes. Registration is on a first come first serve base.

COMPETITION DETAILS & FORMAT:

  • Athletes will do 4-5 tests over the course of 2 days, winner takes it all.
    All Tests will be announced by 15 May.
  • In each division athletes will be ranked based on their performance against other athletes’ scores in each test.
  • Points will be awarded based on placement in a test —1 point for first place, 2 points for second place, and so on, Lower points wins.
  • The winner will be the athlete that has accumulated the fewest points after all tests have been completed.
  • In Case of a tie in the total number of points, the tie breaker will be the last/final test

STRONGMAN PRIZES: The Top 3 winners in each division will get medals in addition to the following monetary prizes:

GENERAL EVENT RULES

Athletes Access: Each athlete competing at any of the three competitions will receive an access bracelet as well as a coach Bracelet which allows the athlete and his coach to enter the 2 days event for free

Spectators Access: Families & friends will have to purchase LA7 Sports Apex spectator ticket to enter the event,  tickets will be available to purchase via tickets marche HERE 

* All Registration fees are final and non-refundable 

* All Schedules & Timelines are subject to change without prior notice

* ELFIT has the right to cancel or merge any divisions that doesnt have at least 5 participants
