8th Annual Swolemates
About This Competition
Swolemates is our annual in-house partner competition and this year is our 8th year holding this fan favorite comp! This is a time of camaraderie and grit and commemorates the founding of Swift River CrossFit which was 2/14/2015.
Divisions & Partner Rules
Two Divisions:
- Freedom/Independence
- Independence/Liberty
Partner Pairing: Teams can be M/M, F/F, or M/F, but each pair must include one person from either the Freedom, Independence, or Liberty tier.
How to Choose?
In class, if you participate in a level at least 60% of the time (this is approximate - go with your gut and you'll be JUST FINE!), you should sign up with a parter of another level.

Workouts
15 minutes total:
Part A
100 Crossovers (Scaled: Single Unders)
80 Pull ups (Scaled: Ring Rows)
60 Crossovers
40 T2B (Scaled: Situps)
20 Crossovers
Reps can be split amongst partners however they see fit.
As soon as you are done, proceed to Part B
10:00 time cap (unfinished reps added to score, immediately proceed to Part B)
Part B:
In remaining time:
Max Weight: Bear Complex
1 Power Clean
1 Front Squat
1 Push Press
1 Back Squat
1 Push Press
If grip is released, that is a no rep. Score is total weight combined for both partners.
Partners may only use 1 barbell. In the case of mixed gender team, you'll have to pick one. Training bars may not be used if you plan on going over 55#.
Women Receive a 1.4x multiplier.
15 minutes total:
Part A

20 Synchro Alternating Reverse Lunges (RX: 33/22, Scaled: BW)**
20 DBall Over Shoulder (RX: 60/40, Scaled: 50/30)*@amy
20 Syncro RAM Burpees (RX: 33/22, Scaled: 20/10 Single Arm Devil's Press)**
For synchro movements, partners much reach bottom and top positions at the same time.
*Split however you'd like
**Only one partner has the RR at a time
One partner works at a time:
Max Hang from Pullup bar*
immediately into
Max DB Deadlift in 1:00 (RX: 60/40, Scaled 40/30)
Clock does not start until each person is hanging from the bar on the hang. 1:00 starts right when individual drops from the bar.
Grips are not allowed for this event.
Score is total number of seconds + repititions for both partners.

Score is total reps combined.
Partners MUST share a bike. There is no additional transition time between minutes.
Only one partner works at a time + partners alternate through movements.
Women receive 1.4x calorie multiplier.
