About This Competition
Join Bedrock CrossFit on Saturday, February 11th for our Bedrock Heart Breaker!
We are going to test your physical strength, mental toughness, speed, endurance, and power to find the winner of the Bedrock Heart Breaker. This one-day competition is a team event with teams of two (male/female). Bedrock Heart Breaker has 2 divisions, Rx and Scaled. The goal of this competition is to bring the community together and provide a fun competitive atmosphere for all athletes. There will be four workouts plus a final for the Top 4 teams in each division.
Register by January 25, 2023 to guarantee a t-shirt. Please choose your shirt using the mens sizing; they will be a unisex t-shirt. We cannot guarantee shirts for any registrations after this date.
Cost is $200 per team + GST and service charge.
*** You will be asked to give us the rest of your teammate's information after you successfully register. Please have their full name, date of birth, email address, and shirt size. ***
How to choose your division:
Please register for the same division that you would register in for the CrossFit Open.

Workouts
Teams will complete the chipper-style workout and share the reps any way they choose with only one team member working at a time. 12 minute Time Cap

Partners will split the reps evenly. All reps of a movement have to be completed before moving on to the next movement.

Teams will perform a 1 Rep Max Lift of the following complex:
1 Clean + 1 Front Squat + 1 Split Jerk
Male teammates start and are given 1 minute to load their barbell for their first lift. They will then have 4 minutes to complete as many attempts as possible to achieve the most weight on a successful lift (total of 5 minutes). Partners can help load barbells for each other. At the 5 minute mark, Female teammates are given 1 minute to load their barbell for their first lift. They will then have 4 minutes to complete as many attempts as possible to achieve the most weight on a successful lift (total of 5 minutes). The workout ends at the 10 minute mark on the clock.

10 Synchronized Box Jumps

One partner works, one partner rests while completing a full round before switching.
