The Distance Dash
This test combines endurance, strategy, and teamwork as athletes work together to complete a set distance across three machines: the Rower, BikeErg, and SkiErg.
Structure:
- 3000 meters on the Rower
- 6000 meters on the BikeErg
- 3000 meters on the SkiErg
Athletes can split the work on each machine however they choose, but there are rules for advancing:
- The team begins on the Rower. As soon as the team completes 1500 meters, one or two athletes can move to the BikeErg to start working.
ONCE AN ATHLETE HAVE ADVANCED THEY CAN NEVER GO BACK.
- Once the Rower reaches 3000 meters and the BikeErg hits 3000 meters, one or two athletes can move to the final machine, the SkiErg.
- The team continues working until all machines reach their required distances.
The final result will be the total time it takes to complete 3000 meters on the Rower, 6000 meters on the BikeErg, and 3000 meters on the SkiErg.
Strategic planning and smooth transitions will be critical for success!
