About This Competition

Come and join Sports Day Throwdown for an amazing day of fun and fitness at CTC CrossFit – Cortex for our Spring Mixed Sex Pairs event! Spectators get in for free, and we will have food, coffee, baked treats and more to make sure the day is just as fun for spectators as it will be for competitors! Movement Standards: SCALED: Hanging Knee Raises Kipping Beats Dumbbell Movements 15/10kg Kettlebell Movements 16/12kg Single skips Barbell movements (cycling) 40/25kg   RX: TTB Pull ups  Pistol Squats HSPU/BMU (One Athlete) Dumbbell Movements 22.5/15kg Kettlebell Movements 24/16kg Double Unders Barbell movements (cycling) 60/40kg Please note, these standards are to give you some guidance on what may come up on the day, however, workouts will not be limited to the above. So come and join us and bring your best smiles and good vibes. We at Sports Day Throwdown hope to see you at CTC Crossfit – Cortex in April!   *** Please note we do not offer refunds. Should you be unable to attend you can pass your ticket on to someone else should you wish to but you MUST let us know. If the athletes are not registered on Throwdown Hub they will not be able to compete on the day and will have to sacrifice the ticket.***

RX athletes will perform American KBS and TTB

Scaled athletes will perform Russian KBS and Hanging Knee Raises.

In a 10 Minute Window Complete WOD 4a:

10 Rounds

3 HSPU

6 Thrusters 

24 Double Unders

Min 10 - 12 Complete WOD 4b

RX Weight 50/35kg

Scaled Weight 40/25kg

Split the work on rounds however you choose. 

RX = Max Rep BMU

Scaled = Max Rep Pull Up

5 Minutes to Achieve:

1RM Snatch

- 2 minutes rest before Workout 2b -

15 Bar Over Burpees

Max Rep GTOH*

*Weight increases each round

**Athletes can snatch or clean and jerk

RX Weights: Round 1 = 50/35kg, Round 2 = 60/40kg, Round 3 = 70/45kg

Scaled Weights: Round 1 = 40/25kg, Round 2 = 50/30kg, Round 3 = 55/35kg
