About This Competition
The Open are just around the corner, and this year, we have something special planned exclusively for our Vondelgym community!
Event Details
The event runs from February 27th to March 17th.
Every week, we’ll be hosting a Friday Night Lights event at Vondelgym Zuid and Vondelgym Rotterdam! You can sign up for one of the time slots via Gymly, available one week in advance:
- Vondelgym Oost: 16:00-18:00 and 18:00-20:00
- Vondelgym Rotterdam: 17:00-18:30 and 18:30-20:00
In Amsterdam, we’ll also host the three Open workouts during all Saturday and Sunday CrossFit classes in Zuid, Oost, and West throughout those weeks. In Rotterdam we'll also host the workouts in the Saturday classes.
The Vondelgym Leaderboard
Unlike previous years, we’re making participation more accessible! While you can still sign up for the official Open via the Games website, it’s not required to participate in our Friday Night Lights event!
Instead, we’ve created this exclusive Vondelgym leaderboard, where you can compete against fellow members.
Later this year, we’re planning an in person event where the top athletes on the leaderboard will battle it out to determine the fittest Vondelgym member!

FAQ Vondelgym Leaderboard
Do I need to upload my own scores?
Yes, you must submit them yourself before the deadline.
Can I be on both the official CrossFit Games leaderboard and the Vondelgym leaderboard?
Yes! You need to sign up for both separately though. We will also validate your scores on the official CrossFit Games leaderboard.
Can I join Friday Night Lights if I’m not officially signed up for the Open via the Games website?
Yes, but you must be signed up for either the Vondelgym leaderboard or the CrossFit Games leaderboard.
I only see RX Men and RX Women as categories, but I want to do the workouts scaled. Is that possible?
Yes! For every workout, you can choose to submit your score as either RX or scaled. RX scores will automatically be ranked higher than scaled scores.
