About This Competition
FolkFit is proud to present to you FolkFest Throwdown Same Sex 3's!
The competition is for Same-Sex 3's and will cover abilities for Intermediate and Scaled.
There are no qualifiers for the competition and there are a limited amount of places for teams.
Scaled: 16 teams, 8 male & 8 female
Intermediate: 16 teams, 8 male & 8 female
The Movement Standards for the event are:
Scaled: This will be accessible to everyone! If you're brand new or just started out and are looking for your first taste of competition, this will be perfect for you.
Intermediate: If you've been doing this for a while and are competent with a few gymnastic movements but struggle with a heavy barbell and complex gymnastic movements. Only 2 members need to have the following:
Toes To Bar
Pull Ups
Handstand Push Ups
Cycle 5+ Clean & Jerks @ 60/40kg
Cycle 5+ Snatches @ 40/25kg
2 x 22.5/15kg Dumbbell Movements
This is ideal for 2 partners who feel they are intermediate level and one who might struggle with T2B, Pull-Ups, and HSPU but want to push themselves to compete in a higher division.
We will be releasing the workouts in the week leading up to the competition.
